slight angst at the beginning.

Evan's POV:

after hearing those pretty words, I turned red. I didn't know how to react, the last time we had told each other anything like this was the first time we kissed. but those times were, lets say buried in our thoughts and so much stuff was covering the truth. tho... Gregory said that he thinks that it isn't a good idea and that if we want to date, we will have to put a lot of effort to it.

I understand and respect his opinion, yet it has been two months that he lives with us, and I really apreciate the help and attention that he gives to everyone around the house. when ever I have to babysit Charlie, he's always there to help me, or when I need help with the groceries, with help for studying for my finals exams. even the smallest of things that I need help with, reaching the top shelves, cleaning the house and making sure that the food in the oven doesn't burn. I will always apreciate every moment he spends with me. and if he doesn't feel comfortable dating, I won't force him to do anything he doesn't like...

after a while of laying in bed, I could hear Gregory snoring. not that it was annoying or loud, it was just... funny? no... adorable, yes it was adorable. around five minutes later, my eyelids started to get heavy. I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep with my arms wrapped around Gregory's waist.

later...

I woke up to the feeling of someone getting off the bed. I opened my eyes and I saw Gregory walking out of the bedroom.

"where are you going?" I asked softly, whispering.

Gregory turned around to face me.

"I'm going to the bathroom... sorry if I woke you up..." he said whispering back with slight shame on his face.

"it's alright, don't worry. tho are you feeling better?" I said as I stopped whispering but still kept my voice low.

"yeah... a little. my nose is a little runny and I am quite dizzy but, I do feel better then earlier." he specified as he interlocked his gaze into mine.

"alright, that is better I guess, but, I'll go get you medicine, alright?" I told him.

"do we have some here?" he asked.

"no, we don't, but the pharmacy is only a two minute drive." I said.

"alright, if you want." he told me.

I got up and went to go grab some clothes out of my closet to go get changed.

"do you know what time it is?" I asked him, waiting for an answer.

"it's like 7PM." he said as he looked outside.

I went next to him and looked outside. it was dark and there was a lot of snow. Gregory looked at the tempature.

"it's 19°F" he said as the snow was glistening.

"alright, I'll make sure to wear my winter coat." I said as I walked out of the bathroom and walked into the entrance.

"okay, stay safe" he said, worriedly.

"don't worry, I will" I said as I grabbed my coat and headed outside.

I hopped in the car and started the engine. I pulled out the driveway and started to head to the drugstore. there were many red lights and trafic, but it wasn't as bad as it used to be.

once I arrived at the drugstore, I looked around for medicine and once I found it, I wasted no time and bought it to get out of the store. after that I went back in the car and drove off to the nearest store where they sold flowers, chocolate and more.
