"You Reap What You Woe"

"Im sorry for working a deal against you for my own sake . I was a little selfish...."

Ralph got up without even letting her complete the sentence . Just when he was about to take a step , he stopped and said , "You don't have to bear the burden . Exclude yourself out of the matter completely . One of us is enough"

He said this and left the room going straight to his room . He sat on the bed and unbuttoned his jacket . Affected by the conversation earlier , he tried to remember if he and the prince had ever encountered before when they were kids  

Having complete and clear memories of his childhood , he still couldn't seem to have any kind of impression of them seeing each other before . He could only believe they had never met before . Shrugging the thoughts , he went to sleep

*Next day*

He was just about to get done with his morning training when a servant came and approached him , "Your Majesty , it is an order from the king to show yourself before him"

He wondered what could it be . He wiped off the sweat and nodded . The servant helped him to change into another shirt . When he entered the chamber , his father was already there gazing out of the window

"You summoned me , father ?"

"Yes , son . Its actually from the Malzenia"

 "Malzenia ?" He furrowed his brows ever so slightly and wondered what could it be now . They probably didn't had to come with the marriage this soon

The King spoke , "King Williams suggested you to join a hunt with their prince . It would be a great way to know each other more but....only if your health is alright and you really can join"

He fell into a thought and the king let him think . After some seconds the King spoke again , "Are you sure you are alright ?"

"Yes , father . I will join"

"Hmm . They have left the decision upon you . Whenever you want to , you two can carry out a hunt together"

And so , after four days they met in the forest which divided the south and west kingdoms . While Junjaira lied in the south , Malzenia lied in the south-west in front of the Helmsdon mountain

Ralph got off his horse and greeted the prince . The prince lifted his hand and left a peck on it

"I really appreciate your kindness to join this day with me"

"I appreciate your concerns more . Prince Williams"

Prince Eliot smiled and passed him an assuring look . They then decided the rules of the game and started to venture into the forest
....

Just as Eliot raised his bow to Target a deer , it was already lying dead in another second with an arrow embedded in its skin . He looked around and caught a glimpse of Ralph disappearing into the woods searching for the next one  

He was quite good at it , he thought but in another minute or so both were riding side to side hitting any prey which came in their sight

Eliot increased the pace and rode past him . By the time , Ralph should also have took up pace and caught up with him but it didn't happen . He turned to look back only to find that Ralph was much more behind

His expression seemed pale as he squinted his eyes and his pace had fallen . Eliot slowed down and pulled the reins of his horse

Ralph raised his hand to his temple and his hands let go of the reins by themselves . Eliot was too late . By the time he could turn , the other prince had fallen off the horse unconscious and hit his head a on a rock
