A great prince, that he was destined to be.
A great lord, the other was destined to be.
A great tyrant, the third was.
In Lothric, a kingdom forged to inherit the legacy of the ancient lords, it was a tradition to provide an able heir and Lord of CInder.
However, in the last years of the Kingdom of Lothric's lifespan, two princes destined to take the world into their hands appeared.
One was named after the kingdom in hopes he holds its future and dreams, Lothric, the future Lord of Cinder.
The other was named Lorian, and he was born to be a king, to rule alongside the Lord of Cinder that Lothric would become.
Lorian was born a mighty man, his stature tall, his strength unmatched, he took up noble knighthood from an early age, he was renowned throughout the kingdom, cherished by everyone, especially after his victory against the hellspawn champion, the "Demon Prince", which caused his sword to be permanently charred with scorching flame.
He was given armor befitting his achievements, and in further recognition of his feats, Lorian was granted the crown of Lothric, patterned with flame, of course, the armor and crown are now scorched black because of the battle with the "Demon Prince".
Lorian's skill in combat was unrivaled, and as was previously mentioned, all eyes were on him.
But grief struck, when his born into illness brother, who was meant to be the Lord of Cinder of the time, was forced to connect his soul to his brother's in hopes Lorian shares some of his vitality, but, it backfired severely when Lorian came down with the same illness, stripped of his ability to move on his feet, and with his body weakened, Lorian could no longer become the future king of Lothric he was meant to be.
Lorian and Lothric, two brothers, eternally bound together by a greedy kingdom's curse.
Lothric, the younger prince, who was, from birth, sick and ill.
He was never able to fulfill his potential any longer after the illness rose further before his ceremony of becoming a Lord of Cinder, and he was confined to his room, but, in his despair and sadness, he found sorcery and magic to be of great help.
He wanted to aid his brother in whatever way he can, and his teacher, the "Scholar of the First Sin", did so.
He taught him everything he needed to know, and Lothric reignited his hopes.
But it once again came crashing down when his brother contracted the same illness he had through the forced soul link they had undergone.
Two brothers who had once stood atop of the world.
Now bound to their deathbeds.
Lothric gave up and left for the highest levels of his castle, taking Lorian with him, thus ending the age of the Kingdom of Lothric's prominence.
It was never the same, as their father, the Mad King Oceiros, had left long long ago.
And even their mother, the Queen Gwynevere herself, the descendant of the ancient God Gwyn who fought and destroyed the Everlasting Dragons, faded out and was never seen after some point in time.
Lothric and Lorian met their demise at the hands of a certain someone, they professed their disdain of the system of rekindling the flame, Lothric with his words, Lorian with his sword.
The two princes faded, their final effort for proper combat blown away by that certain someone's own fighting prowess.
Yes, that certain someone was indeed too strong for them, but no matter, they had longed for proper rest.
