On the phone

"-I don't know Liz, maybe I scared her off. I literally begged her like a homeless person!"

I was calling with my best friend Elizabeth right after the call with Noura.

"Stop talking Scarlett! You offered her something great, it will be okay! Isn't it everyone's teenage dream??"

I stayed silent, the words sinking in what Liz said. Maybe it is everyone's dream, but I don't know...

"Come on Scar, you literally said that she looked so happy when you offered it"

"Maybe she changed her mind, there is something up with her. She doesn't do physical touch, that's totally okay but when she left with Julie, Julie asked her if she could hold Noura's hand because she was getting a panic attack. It looked like holding her hand was a big deal for her!"

"Oh my god"

"What?"

Lizzie just stayed silent.

"Lizzie what?"

I heard her giggling.

"Elizabeth!"

"Okay I'm hanging up"

"No wait! You're just getting so attached! It's cute! You're already caring about her as a mom!"

"Okay I'm hanging up, bye Liz!"

"Nooo Scarlettt!"

"Bye Lizzie!"

I hung up the phone when I heard a groan from Lizzie. What if she is right? I never had this with a fan, I don't even think that she is 'just a fan'. I gave her my fucking phone number! The things she could do with it, I just trust her with my gut. It's just I never had this, never. I met this girl 2 times, and I want her to stay in my life.

It was 9pm now, today was so boring. Mostly I have Rose to entertain me, but she is at her dad's now in Chicago. It is hard to miss Rose for the weekend, but I'm glad that she is with me most of the time. It is difficult being a single mother, but I have my mom who babysits, and Isabella now of course. The drama to find a good babysitter. Rose literally hated every babysitter until Isabella came.

I decided to watch a movie, I put The Other Woman on. I wasn't paying attention to the movie at all, I was constantly checking my phone if Noura texted me. Every time I got a notification I grabbed my phone, but it was just Lizzie, Chris Evans or some other stupid notifications. Around 10:30pm I decided to give it up for today, she is probably going to text me tomorrow. The whole evening I thought about the situation, and I don't know what the hell I'm actually doing. Then I got the notification.
