Melissas POV

I left the hall with LaToya and Maddie. Maddie is my best friend and LaToya is head cheerleader in our cheer squad. We were the most important and popular girls in school, Maddie and LaToya loved it and I... I wondered what it would be like to be different.

"What do ya'll have now?" I asked, I had Biology.

"Physics," LaToya said she was very smart in sciences.

"History" Maddie was more of an English or writing subjects girl.

"I will meet you guys for lunch then?" all of us popular kids sat together, how cliché right?

"See you!"

"See you later Baby Doll!" I giggled at Maddie's nickname for me we always used pet names for each other.

"Bye Love"

I went to room 37 for Biology with Mrs Bell. I walked in and sat in my usual seat beside Alicia when Mrs Bell informed us we had a group project to do. I immediately looked at Alicia and made "partners?" eyes at her and she agreed.

"Not so fast guys, I'm picking the partners" Mrs Bell is ruining my life! the whole class groaned except for Ben Plunkett, he actually looked relieved.

"Ok so Alicia and Carol, Finn and Rachel, Ben and Melissa..." I was with Ben?.. Plunkett? He seems nice so this could be fun... right?

I looked behind me to Ben and waved and he turned bright red and it made me giggle.

"Go sit beside your partners and start your project"

I moved and sat beside Ben to start our project, "Hi Ben, so do you know what we have to do the project on?"

"umm I-I think it's o-on cells" He was nervous.

"Cool, so what do we do?"

"Um w-we doooo something w-with cells?"

I put up my hand to ask about the project as Ben was confused and so was I. Mrs Bell told us we had to make models of a plant and animal cell and note the differences.

"So I'll do it and put your name on it?" Ben must have done a project with Graham in the past.

"No don't be silly i'll help, wanna meet up later and start? When are you free?"

"I have a free last?"

"Perfect I'll meet you in the library then?"

"Yep" he was still acting awkward so I put a hand on his shoulder to try to relax him. I wrote my number on a page and passed it to him.

"For the project"

Then the bell went and I packed up and left with Alicia.
