Me, Chris, and Nick were eating cotton candy with our dad Jimmy next to a stand while Justin was on some ride with his friends at the fair and our mom went to the bathroom with Mavis.
I was sitting on a bench when I noticed Marylou looking panicked running our way.
Jimmy immediately rushed to her asking where was Mae but my mom was so shaken everything she said was just a mumble.
I looked at my brothers not understanding what was going on while my dad made mom calm down so she could explain what happened.
Her next words made my heart drop.
