(Y/N's POV)
"Hey, Y/N?" Sasha asks me at lunch. Marcy and Anne haven't sat down yet.
"Yeah, Sash?" I reply.
"Do you think that Anne likes me?" Sasha asks.
"Maybe." I shrug. "She did kiss you on the head after you sang 'I Love You Truly'."
"Yeah, but, I think she was just goofing around. I don't really like her like that, and I don't want her to be disappointed." Sasha says.
"Oh. I don't know if she likes you." I say. "Sorry."
"That's okay." Sasha shrugs. "Just, please don't say anything. I don't wand Anne to get the wrong idea."
"Okay. Will do." I salute jokingly.
"Hey, guys. What's up?" Anne sits down.
"Nothing much. Sasha was just telling me what she did in class." I say.
"Thanks." Sasha mouths.
"No problem." I mouth back.
"What did you do in class today, Sasha?" Marcy asks.
"Uh...we did, uh...work! Yeah, work. Tons and tons of work." Sasha sweats.
"Well, duh, but what kind of work?" Anne asks.
"Well, I was in English class, so reading and answering questions and stuff." Sasha says.
"Okay." Anne says. She takes a bite of her pizza. Then she stops chewing. "I have a great idea." She says quickly.
"What is it?" Sasha asks.
"You know our band, Sasha and the Sharps?" Anne asks.
"You have a band!?" I exclaim.
"Yeah. It's kinda small, though. Just a little garage band." Sasha shrugs.
"Can I come see you guys play?" I ask.
"Of course, Y/N!" Marcy exclaims.
"Sweet." I pump my fist in the air.
"How about today after school?" Sasha asks me.
"That works for me." I say.
"Great!" Sasha exclaims. The bell rings. "See you after school!"
We all walk to class.
Sasha's POV
Hey, journal...
My parents have been fighting a lot lately...I wonder if they'll get a divorce...no, that'll never happen! My parents love each other!...Don't they?"Sasha, can you come down here a minute, please?" Mom calls from downstairs.
"Okay! Coming!" I exclaim. I close my journal and walk downstairs.
Once I'm downstairs, I see my dad with a packed suitcase.
"You're father and I are getting a divorce." Mom says.
"You...you're what?" I ask.
"I'm sorry, honey. I know it's so sudden. But your father came home with rhe divorce papers, and he told me if I didn't sign them, then he would hsve custody over you, and he's moving to New York..." Mom says.
"You...you can't do this! Please reconsider!" I exclaim. I can feel tears forming in the corners of my eyes.
"We can't. We already signed the papers." Mom shakes her head.
"But...but...don't you love each other anymore?" I pause for a moment. "Don't you love me?"
"Sweetie, of course we love you." Mom tries to hug me, but I push her away.
