I didn't tell Tommy about Halloween, I told him I got my period and had to go home, I apologized for not telling him but I said I didn't want to be seen like that.

He just brushed it off, no wonder why it didn't matter to him, he was with some other girl.

"Want to go for a walk?" I asked, he said sure and we walked down the streets in our boots and coats, I had earmuffs to cover the cold from hitting my ears. Small partials of snow fell on the top of my hair and I held his hand. Soon later as we walked I had to get it off my chest.

"Tommy." I said in a calm tone.
"Yes?" He said.
"Who was that girl you were flirting with at the party?" I asked, he paused and stopped walking.
"What?" He asked, I knew he knew.
"You know what I'm talking about." We were now in an alley way by some lower class houses, it freaked me out a bit but I knew nothing bad would happen, worst case scenario my parents would be mad if he broke up with me.
"You're making that up Talia, I was with no one." He said sternly.
"Please stop lying, I just need you to tell me it was nothing, please? I saw you in the window." I said
"Talia smith, stop, you're making me mad." He said. I had never heard him like that before, it spooked me.
"Just tell me you're not cheating on me Tommy please! Stop avoiding the question!" I yelled
"Talia enough!" He yelled back.
"Josh..." I said in a sad tone. "Please don't do this to me."
"Talia it's not like you even like me your fucking parents are forcing you to date me. I know you don't like it and neither do I." He yells.
"Josh, I know but, even though I didn't chose to be with you I still am, and I'm being loyal!" I yelled, he got mad and slapped me across the face, I took a large gasp and was shocked by his aggressive move. I started running home crying and went inside to see my whole family just eating dinner at the table.

"Oh my gosh. Talia my baby what happened?" My mother asked
"It's- it's Tommy mom, he hit me!" I said crying.
"No, Tal." My dad interrupted, "Tommy is perfect for you he is kind and rich, he would never do that to you." His words made me cry even more.
"Dad! No! He was cheating on me."
My nana looked devastated. "Talia, Tommy is a good man, he is right for you, go up to your room. Now." She said. I was speechless, I ran upstairs and cried in my room.
