Red dress...

JJ's POV:

Well, it was that time of the year again. Midsummers. Yay! This year should be more fun though because we have found the gold and are hella rich and I'm now dating Kie.

We decided to match since I'm attending as an actual member and not a worker this year and she chose the color red.

Can't wait to see how this goes, especially since we are attending as an official couple and haven't talked to her parents in months.

Kie's POV:

Sarah, Cleo, and I were all getting ready at Tannyhill since that's where we all live now. Long story for another time. Anyway, I had been in Sarah and John B's room for about 2 hours and Sarah and Cleo were STILL getting ready.

I was already done. The only thing I needed to do was put on my dress. It's beautiful but not too fancy. I'm still a pouge at heart, you know.

Anyway, it was this really pretty red color and had a slit all the way up my leg. I loved it. Sarah told me it was a little too revealing but it was the only dress I felt comfortable in so I didn't really care.

I only had on some light makeup. Blush and mascara. My hair was up in a messy bun and I had a skinny red flower crown on. Nothing to special.

After about 30 more minutes, Cleo and Sarah were ready, finally, and it was time to go downstairs and reveal ourselves to the boys.

We were walking downstairs and I immediately felt eyes on me and knew who it was. JJ. We have been together for nearly a year and those beautiful blue eyes still give me butterflies everytime I look into them.

I walked over to him and he kissed me on the hand.

" You look hot." He said whispering in my ear with a smirk on his face.

" Yeah?" I questioned," You don't look to bad yourself, Maybank."

" Ok lovebirds, time to go," John B said as I was fixing JJ's tie. He had on a basic black suit with a tie the color of my dress. His hair was as messy as always, but he still managed to look so handsome.

" I can't wait to help you take this off tonight," JJ said as we walked outside to get into the twinkie and off to midsummers.

" I could say the same about you." I whispered back.

This was going to be a truly fun night. I could already tell.
