Enid Sinclair

Week two of school has begun, and the month of August is practically over. So far, my classes have gone steady without a lot of problems. I am used to the schedule and routine from the time I wake up to the specific hour I sleep. There are some days I adjust my procedures. However, I get back on track instead of falling behind.

There are some things that have changed compared to my past, day to day school life. The first would be having a new roommate and a friend. I know Wednesday doesn't think of me as anything other than a vibrant roomie and werewolf who cannot transform. But at least she hasn't tormented me. I'm grateful for being alive.

Secondly, I have another companion, Thing, who I can definitely talk to about everything. He helps me write in my vlog about any latest gossip or news. Thirdly, in two of my classes is a gorgon boy. His name is Ajax Petropolus who is awkward and bashful. Ajax and I started chatting after he and I were partnered up for fencing class. Afterwards, we got to know each other fairly well.

And lastly, I ended up in a situation where it led me to become an official member of a beekeeping club along with Wednesday. Everybody's final class was finished, and lunch came through. I had a big breakfast before my first class, so I wasn't hungry to eat. Neither was Wednesday when I came across her. Like a brave soldier, I bothered to ask if she wanted to tag beside me and stroll around campus.

"Is there a reason you're asking me to go with you?" The raven stared at me suspiciously.

"Nope! I thought it would be nice to take a walk with my best roomie since I have nothing better to do today," I smiled out of hopefulness.

"For your information, I'm your only roommate. Also, I have a feeling you're plotting something behind my back, Sinclair," she eyed me like a hawk.

I raised my hands in surrender and said, "Don't worry Wednesday. I wouldn't do such a thing to you."

Sighing in defeat, Wednesday responded, "Fine. Make our walk worth my time."

"Does that mean I get to entertain you?" I inquired.

"By entertaining me, does it involve rambling nonstop about rumors you've heard of?"

"Maybe," I simply answered.

"As long as it is about someone getting killed or hurt, I'm all ears," Addams made it clear what she wanted to hear.

Right as I began walking with Wednesday following my lead, I claimed happily, "Ooh! There's actually someone who broke their wrist by falling on it. I saw a picture of it all bruised and swollen. I ended up fainting from the sight of it."

"Intriguing. If you're willing to, I'd like to see the picture for research purposes," the goth wished to examine the injury.

"Sure thing!"

I pulled out my phone from my skirt pocket and searched through it to find the specific image. While looking down at my device, I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking. Wednesday didn't warn me when I felt someone bump into me roughly, resulting in me dropping my phone. Thankfully, it landed on the grass instead of concrete.

"Oh shoot! I'm so sor-" the unknown person nearly apologized before stopping mid sentence.

Picking up my phone, I flickered my eyes to the voice belonging to a boy. His dark hair was very wavy and dark. He wore prescription glasses and metal retainers. Never have I seen him before and same goes for Wednesday as she didn't recognize the teenager. I was aware that he kept staring at me with his jaw dropped. I was wondering why.
