You always talked over me
And acted like what I had to say didn't matter
Even in a room where there is only the two of us
Your eyes still go over me like I am invisible
Like I don't exist
Now my biggest stage fright
Is not the idea of their eyes on me
Or their opinions of me
But that they won't listen when I talk
That they will dismiss me
And act as if I don't even exist
