The Elemental Battles

The Beginning Part 1

What are they going to do to Jay? I paced around in my room, staring at my crossbow and katana blade. This reminds me of the Tournament Of Elements. Skylor and I were the main power sources to unlocking the spell. Jay texted me everything about the Elemental Battles. I know what they are planning to do. And if I want to win, I'm going to have to play hard to get, like in the tournament.

Skylor and I walked to the entrance together.
"Kai?" She asked.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"What's gonna happen when we lose?"
"I don't know Skylor. We'll just have to see." We were already prepared, ready to fight. Her crossbow was in her hand, my sword in my gi pocket. We then met up with Sam and Lloyd. Sam with her crossbow and katana, Lloyd with no weapon. His energy is within him.
"This is it guys. We're gonna have to say goodbye now," Sam said. We all hugged each other, but Sam and Lloyd last, then me and Skylor. Then we all went our separate ways into the arena.

Each of the contestants sat on a chair. An Elemental Boss came around and told them to stick out their left arm.
"Give me your arm," he said.
"For what? What is it?" I asked.
"It's your tracker. We are going to track you in the games, so when you lose, we know where to find you." Great. I needed stalkers. When we all made it to the arena, we each had our names printed on it, where we'd step on. We did as told, then the countdown started from 60. 59, 58, 57, 56....
47, 46, 45, 44, 43....
35, 34, 33, 32, 31....
26, 25, 24, 23, 22....
17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... The horn made its sound, and we all ran into the woods.
