It was those deep brown eyes that made me drown in emotions. Those warm eyes are staring at me like it did 8 years ago.

God I love this man.

His gentle touches always sends me shiver down the spines and the way he smiles always makes me fall deeper.

But in a second his gaze started to change as his eyes looks at me in desperation.

"Don't do this to me"

He kneels as he begs for me to stay. I wanted to hug him and tell him I will not go anywhere. But my hands pushed him away.

He cries out loud asking me what went wrong or what he did wrong but all I could answer was...

"I don't feel that way anymore"

He looks at me in shock as he tries to process what he heard.

"Was it out of sympathy?"  He asks

I nodded as I tried to stop myself from crying.

No it wasn't, but it was for the best. Not for me, but for you.

I love him to the point that I am willing to risk myself.

Because he was losing his life away for him. And he doesn't want to be the reason for him to get stuck when he knows he can go far more than this countryside can give him.

He knew he would regret this for a long time.

"You know me better than anyone else, I showed you all my flaws and my vulnerable side, and this is what I get in return?"

"Maybe fate brought me to you to fix some of your broken parts"

"No, you fix me to break me again"

I turned away and started to leave.

"Traitor" was the last word I heard from him.

He can call me that for the rest of his life.

Because I knew it was true.

The dream was vivid and it feels like it only happened yesterday. Noon hasn't dreamt about that night for a long time.

He sighs as he checks the time. 5:09. It was still early since he went home almost three.

Although he wanted to get a little nore sleep, his mind won't let him. He sat there drifting his mind back 8 years ago.

8 years...

It was pretty long ago but it still haunted him. He still longed for those warm brown eyes to look at him like they did back then.

They were happy back then. Not a care in the world as they explore the world and blindlessly taking risk without thinking about the future.

And now Noon was all alone, stuck at those time. Still trying his best to live his life even though it was taken away 8 years ago.

Although Noon feels tired coming to the company l, he fights his way through with a cup of ice Americano.

He sits down on his desk, massaging his shoulders. Jake was heavy and carrying him all by himself is quite an exercise for him.

"Congrats on your third day
Noon looks at him, unsure on what to say" Ham just smiled at him and decided to mind his own business.
