That would be the word that Kit thinks would suit him best.

He never had trouble doing things by himself no matter what the problem is.

He was used to never asking for help.

Be it in school, be it in his private life or even now, in his work.

Everyone was aware of his obvious lifestyle and he was glad nobody asks why.

Working as a student just to get by college at the company he never really had much thought of pursuing or getting absorbed by the particular path of getting along with celebrities.

Not until he saw a clueless  high schooler looking lost, walking behind his mother whose strides are confident. Her demeanor was strong and you can feel she was sure about what she was about to do.

"He can sing, play guitar, do the drum and everything" Her tone was commanding, as if she was ready to battle it out in case something doesn't go in her way.

"I want to go back to Krabi" the boy whispers and his mother shoots him a glare.

The boy just bowed his head in defeat as he fiddles his finger, listening to the conversation he was not even interested with.

"Can I go to the bathroom?" The boy mumbles and her mother asks where the bathroom was.

"Kit" he hears his supervisor calls him and he was quick to approach them.

"Accompany him to the bathroom" he tells him which he nodded and gestured the boy to follow him.

He can hear the heavy footsteps of the boy, forcefully dragging his way to the lavatory, and when he saw the signage he quickly run inside, locking himself in one of the stalls.

Kit can hear his cries as he entered, his broken sobs resonated in the room.

A few minutes later, his crying stops and he slowly opens the cubicle's door, wiping away whatever tears left on his face.

"Do you have a phone? My mom confiscated mine and I really need to call someone" he suddenly asks Kit.

Kit was quick to pull out his phone and gave it to the boy who desperately inputs a number and dials it.

The loud sound of the boy knocking on the tiled wall while hopelessly waiting for the other line to answer.

"Noon answer it please" he whispers over and over redialing the number until there was no ringing on the other end.

The number was blocked.

The boy could not believe it and tried to dial it again but to no avail.

He sighed in defeat, bowing his head to stop himself from crying again.

"Thank you" he says, handing him the phone.

Kit never planned to stay, really. His dream was to get out of the country as soon as he finishes college and forget everything about this country. He wants to run away from all the nightmares that have been chasing him all his life and start anew.

But now he looks at himself in the mirror, wondering what Jake did to him to stay here up until now.

Maybe it was the moment he knew Jake's mom had thrown him away in this place, alone and clueless on what he was about to do.

It was different, but at the same time it was so similar to him.

Being abandoned in a place where you have no idea how to survive.
