Arsh's pov:

"Remember, not a single scratch." I said while tossing my keys to the valet boy.

Bloody idiots. Because of them now I am late for the meeting. Couldn't they find another time to ambush me at the office? And why the hell is this restaurant so overcrowded? It's a good thing my secretary booked a private dining room.

I don't usually have business meetings in a restaurant as it's against my work ethics but the man I am meeting is more like a family friend.

I feel my phone vibrate and look at it only to see a message from my secretary.

Secretary: Sir Mr. Panchal has arrived and he is asking for you.

'Tell him I will be with him in a minute.'

I reply to my secretary's text and look ahead only to find a familiar figure standing a few feet away.

"Avni."

I uttered her name so softly that I couldn't recognize my own voice.

She looked ethereal, out of this world and so beautiful that she could outshine even the moon. How could someone look so innocent and yet so captivating? She looked gorgeous in that skin-tight blue dress that showed all her curves. I can feel my heart beating faster and my breathing getting heavier.

Before I knew it, my legs were already carrying me towards her and just to my luck, she turned around at the same time and collided with me, resulting in her being in my arms.

To say this is the best day of my damn life, wouldn't be a lie.

If my heart was beating faster before, now it felt like it would burst out of my chest.

I came out of my thoughts after hearing a wince from my pretty woman and instinctively, I pulled her closer towards me out of concern. She looked even more beautiful up close.

I moved her hair away from her face to get a better view and gently tucked some strands behind her ears.

Now I could see her blushing face which did wonders to my heart. Her soft body pressed against mine felt like heaven.

What could I give up to have her in my arms like this forever?

"Mr Mehra!"

I snap out of my trance at the sound of her sweet voice, but soon my forehead furrows in a frown.

'Mr. Mehra?'

I told her not to call me so formally, expecting her to say my name but instead, all I got was a cute expression from her side which made me pull her even closer.

"Excuse me, can you leave me? I am okay now. Thanks for the help." She said with that cute expression still adoring her face while simultaneously trying to get out of my grip.

Oh hell no! She is not going anywhere, at least not for the time being.

However, I still loosened my hold seeing her relentless struggle and also so she would not think ill of me. I don't want her to view me as a bad person with a bad character, I want her to feel comfortable and safe around me.

But that feeling soon changed into desperation when she began to put some distance between us and started going away from me.

And without thinking much I grabbed her wrist in an abrupt manner but gently and asked her to go on a date with me with the softest voice I could muster.

As expected, she looked at me with wide eyes, probably perplexed about the situation.

"What?!" She questioned in confusion.
