Click, clack, click, clack, click clack...

He opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling. He could hear voices downstairs of his two roommates. Dark was pacing his tech room, fiddling with gadgets and whatever his latest project could entail. White imagined himself in Chosen's place, admiring the genius's latest works. Seeing him move as he tinkered and toiled, watching the irresistible shine's of the equipment. He wanted to go down and help, yet he could feel his battery still wasn't full enough.

Looking down his bed, he could see the wire, coming out of his bed, and connected to the large socket in the wall, specifically for him. He could see the bar on his wrist pulse at the halfway point as he suddenly felt slightly groggy, like the energy supply was slowing. There was a large whirring downstairs, heard from the window. The voices downstairs seemed to be getting a bit louder before he heard a thud.

Yanking the wire off his neck, he sprinted downstairs, anxious to what was happening. He saw blasts of wall being destroyed and fireballs being thrown as time seemed to slow. A large machine that looked like a ray gun with a red capsule within glowed, a red button in front. Dark was sprinting towards the button, his fingers outstretched, Chosen right behind him. The darker one's fist glowed as he brought it forward, just as Dark pressed the button.

SLAM!
BANG!
BOOOOM!!!!

White was blasted back by the force of Chosen's punch, hitting a wall, his vision blurred. He saw orange and yellow sparks as Chosen flew towards the burning red capsule, both disappearing into the clouds above. Trudging towards the window, White saw drawings of a robotic looking spider on the wall. He picked up what seemed to be a red spear of some kind. It dazzled, it's sides shining in the light from the balcony. The tip was pointed as his finger moved towards it.

His mind raced as his program forced him to jerk back away from the tip. His sensors indicated danger. Using the scanner's in his eyes, he found this strange spear to be built up of nothing but cryptic code. He couldn't read it as every second, each crimson one and zero seemed to shift and change.

Slipping off a glove, he hovered his bare robotic finger close to the tip. A small buzzing sound was audible as he pressed, expecting his pain sensors to go off. Yet, nothing happened. The tip glitched the slight white glitchyness before he saw its code reshuffle and shine, like nothing had happened.

Quickly slipping on the glove, he felt a beeping in his ear. "D...Dark..." he muttered, knowing his freind had pressed the small emergency button he kept on his person. With a leap, his back opened up, a spider web of thrusters pushing him forward with incredible speeds. He heard a distant buzz as he looked up behind him and saw what seemed to be Chosen's Lasers hitting something in the sky. Continuing onward, he blasted, watching the grass and cliffs wizz by.

White realised he was gripping the spear he had picked up, in his gloved hands. He could call it a trick of light of perhaps his draining power, but it seemed to have grown longer when it reformed. His black clad fingers fumbled around the base as he soared. Dark had made these gloves for him, back when they met because he couldn't touch anything. Back when it hurt to touch his face. To wipe his own eyes. To even breath.

Dark had fixed him up. Dark cared for him. Dark was smart. He was kind. He was intelligent. He cared for him and he cared for Chosen. Dark and Chosen were insufferable, like brothers.

So why had Chosen done that?

Dark had closed himself off for the past few days. He'd been in his console room, all the way at the other side of the steep cliff face that overlooked the vast watery view where they resided. Dark liked the scenery. White never understood his passion for nature. After all, he could recreate it all with his tech. He knew that if anyone could do it, it was Dark.
