It's Friday Friday... Gotta get down on Friday

"Never judge a book by its cover" that's how the phrase goes, right? Well word of advice from a loser like me... don't trust anyone, because you will always end up getting hurt in the end.

That's exactly what happened to me...
I made one mistake, and now my life has become a living hell.

You're probably wandering what happened to me... so let me tell you.

"Hey!" someone said from behind me. I jumped in shock and ended up colliding head first with my locker. "Holy shit, Ember... are you okay?" he said, helping up.

"NO IM NOT OKAY YOU FUCK-" I looked up and blushed. "Oh ummm hey Shawn," I said nervously.

"Sorry for that, uhhh I didn't mean to scare you like that." Shawn said. He scratched his neck. "I wanted to know if you wanted to come to my party this Friday," he said shyly.

"I would love to," I said. I was pretty much having a meltdown inside. You see, I have had a crush on Shawn Mendes for the past 5 years. Maybe he actually feels the same way. I started walking to my next class.

"Wait Ember!!!!" I turned around. "Can I have your number?" My eyes went wide. I couldn't even talk, so I just awkwardly nodded. He passed me his phone. I quickly put in my number and gave him his phone back. "Thanks Em, I'll text you later okay?" he said smiling.

"I'm looking forward to it!" I said. Shit, now I sound desperate. Ugh, I mentally face palmed myself. He smirked at me and then just walked away.

I felt a hand over my mouth and two arms pulling me towards them. "OMG WAS THAT WHO I THINK IT WAS!!!!, screamed my two best friends in perfect sync. I blushed and looked down. Kennedy, Harmony and I have known each other since kindergarten, and have been inseparable ever since. We are pretty much like the three musketeers.

"Shawninvitedmetohispartythisfriday," I said quickly. "OH MY GOD!!!" They screamed. They pulled me towards them and gave me a bond born crushing hug. "Ca-nt breathe. I c-ant breathe!!!!!!" I yelled. They let go, with Cheshire Cat grins still sketched on their faces.

"Can you guys come with me?" I said quietly. Kennedy squealed. "I thought you'd never ask!!!" she said. Harmony on the other hand broke into song, "It's Friday, Friday. GOTTA GET DOWN ON FRIDAY!!!" she sang, rather loudly.

I couldn't believe that these words even came out of my mouth. "Can we go shopping?" I said.

Kennedy laughed evilly "We were going to take you anyways, whether you wanted to or not."

I never questioned his sudden kindness towards me, I guess you could say that I was taken completely off guard. I wish I could have known the truth, before it was too late.
