Tea or Coffee?

" Hey man thanks!" Zayn said to Jasper all smiles

I looked at him like he was crazy. " Do you two know each other?"

" Sorta. While you were knocked out he came in and told me you two were childhood friends and offered to get something to drink." Zayn filled me in.

" Yep. Tea or coffee? I know you like both... peppermint tea and hazelnut coffee with caramel and extra whipped cream..." Jasper asked holding a cup in each hand.

I took the coffee. " Thanks... can't believe you remember." I tried to avoid his gaze. The warm coffee cup felt good in my cold hands.

I didn't know how I should feel happy that he was back or terrified. I had so many questions and wanted to get him alone to talk but I didn't want Zayn to leave me...just in case something were to happen... As if on cue, Zayn's phone rang.

" Hey Harry... yeah she just woke up... she 's fine... yup..." Zayn gestured to the waiting room outside and kissed me on the forehead and left.

Please don't leave me, I thought.

" Don't we have some catching up to do..." Jasper said

"yup"

He stared at me. He was beautiful. His long dark brown curly hair was ear length, his olive skin tone went perfectly with his big light brown eyes... Stop it Briana!

" Did you really do it? Kill your own aunt?" I had to ask.

" I did it to protect you", they were the same words he said when we were younger.

" I don't under-" I shook my head

" You aren't going to...not right now, I'll explain it later." he interrupted me and touched my cheek. He was so close. He smelled like cinnamon and fresh cut wood.

" No!!! I'm tired of people telling me that! Tell me now!!! Both me and Diamond deserve to know! We've waited 5 years while you were in juvie!!" I yelled as I stared at his lips.

"Ssshhh calm down"

" No!! I'm not -"

He kissed me. An electric shock ran down my spine. I heard someone clear their throat. Me and Jasper immediately pulled away and looked at the door...

It was Diamond.

" Look who's back." I said hopping she wouldn't say anything.

"And look who's getting cozy" she smiled

"You guys always were smart asses." Jasper said smiling looking at Diamond.

Diamond shrugged.

All of a sudden, someone yanked out my IV. I screamed and someone covered my mouth and forced something into it. Jasper and Diamond were being drugged as well. It all went black again.
