Over the last week, (Y/N) had spent time around Camp Half-Blood. Hecate had come to visit him, outside of his dreams. Thanks to her, he had learned magic, such as invisibility spells. He had also learned how to win at Pinochle by cheating (AKA manipulate the Mist to make it seem like he was winning). He had grown close with his mother, and had had fun playing card games with Mr. D. He also made some friends, most of which were in the Apollo cabin.

One day, he was practicing magic with his mother, when he heard commotion going on outside of the Hermes cabin, where he stayed. Curious, he walks outside, where he sees Grover, Percy, and Annabeth walking into camp. Excitedly, he runs over towards the three, waving at Annabeth excitedly.

"Annabeth!" He yells out. "You're back!" He embraces her happily, before pulling back as he notices her wince in pain. "Are you okay?"

"Yea," Annabeth says. "I'm fine. Just... A little bruised."

(Y/N) nods a little, glancing at Percy and Grover, who were talking to Chiron and Mr. D. He grabs Annabeth's wrist, gently dragging her to the Hermes cabin. They walk into the cabin, where Hecate was sitting on his bed, practicing magic. He lets Annabeth sit on the bed next to his mother, and he looked for the med kit. After not finding it, he just walked over to Annabeth, and gently grabs her arm. Focusing, he uses magic to heal her cuts and bruises. As he heals her, he glances at his mother, who had stopped practicing, and was smirking at him and Annabeth. He raises an eyebrow at her, and she gives him a thumbs-up in response.

Upon realizing what she was looking at him like that for, he blushes a little, and continues focusing on healing Annabeth, unaware of the blush on his friend's face as well.

After he finishes healing her arms, legs, and face, he sits next to her. "Are there any other bruises?"

"No," Annabeth replies. "None that are too painful, anyway."

(Y/N) nods in response.

"So, who is this?" Annabeth asks, gesturing towards Hecate.

"Oh, that's my mother, Hecate," He replies. "Goddess of Magic."

Annabeth nods in acknowledgement, turning to Hecate. "It's nice to meet you."

"Likewise," Hecate responds. "You must be Annabeth Chase, correct?" Upon seeing Annabeth's nod of affirmation, Hecate speaks again. "I've heard a lot about you from (Y/N)."

Said boy blushes in response. As he goes to open his mouth to reply, he feels something off, and stands up.

Hecate and Annabeth look at him in confusion. Before either of them have a chance to speak, (Y/N) runs out of the door, towards the woods, much to the confusion of everyone. He runs towards the lake, where he sees Percy and Luke talking.

'Something feels off...' He thinks, watching his brother and Luke talking.

He walks closer, listening to the conversation.

"...Pit scorpions can jump up to fifteen feet," He heard Luke say. "Its stinger can pierce right through your clothes. You'll be dead in sixty seconds."

Suddenly, it dawned on (Y/N). Zeus's Master Bolt going missing, the uneasy feeling he always got around Luke. Luke was a traitor. He had everyone fooled, but he was a traitor, who was working for Kronos.

Without thinking, (Y/N) ran out from behind the bushes, and launched himself at Luke, dagger in his hand. "Stay away from my brother!" He yells at the blonde boy. He turns to Percy. "Percy, go get Chiron and Mr. D!"

Percy stands up, running towards the main part of camp. He yells out in pain as the pit scorpion stings him, but he keeps running.

As (Y/N) is momentarily distracted, Luke pushed him off of him, pulling out Backbiter, his new sword.

(Y/N) wasn't used to fighting people who had a sword made of both celestial bronze, and tempered steel. But, he manages to block the attacks that Luke aims at him. That is until he hears someone approaching from behind, and he lets his guard down. In that moment, Luke attacked, the blade catching him on his left eye. He yells in pain, covering his now-bleeding eye with his hand. Luke notices the person that had approached, and spoke, his voice sweet.

"Annabeth!" He says. "This isn't what it looks like! (Y/N) attacked me!"

Annabeth stares at the scene, her eyes wide in disbelief. She looks like she's going to say something towards (Y/N), before she sees his bleeding eye.

"(Y/N)!" She yells out, concerned as she runs to her friend. She glares at Luke. "You liar."

Luke smirks at her, his voice still sickeningly sweet. "Now, c'mon, Annie. That isn't a fair statement. You don't know the whole truth." Luke walks towards her, lifting her chin with his sword. "You couldn't possibly be taking the side of a stranger, over the side of the person who has cared for you... Loved you... Since you were 7, right?"

Glaring at Luke, (Y/N) grabs his blade, pushing it away from Annabeth. "Leave her out of this, traitor." His voice is cold. "This is between you and me. Don't even think about manipulating her with your 'smooth-talking' attitude." He runs towards Luke, using his dagger to disarm him quickly. He grabs Backbiter from the ground, pointing it at Luke.

"I'll give you one chance, Luke Castellan," His voice was still cold, but it held a venom as he speaks to the traitorous boy. "Leave, or be killed where you stand."

Luke smirks at him. "I don't see why you have such a problem with me. We're the same, after all."

"I am nothing like you," (Y/N) spat. "You are a creep, and a traitor."

"You say we're nothing alike, and yet, you look at me with such hatred. You talk to me with such venom. You're just as 'evil' as me, whether you like it or not."

Wordlessly, (Y/N) launches himself at Luke, swinging Backbiter. The sword slashes across Luke's chest, ripping his shirt, leaving a bloody gash.

"Fine," Luke says, wincing in pain. "I'll leave. But I will come back. And you, and your brother, will regret this."

(Y/N) throws Backbiter to Luke as he walks away. As Luke leaves, he turns to Annabeth, wiping the blood from his eye. The loss of blood causes him to become dizzy, and his knees buckle. Annabeth catches him, supporting his weight with her arms as she begins walking him to camp. As they walk, (Y/N)'s vision blurs from both the blood, and his light-headedness. Before he knows what is happening, his vision goes black as he goes unconscious.

Just as I promised, here is the next chapter! And just look at that cliff-hanger! Beautifully done, right? Leaving everyone confused as to what in Tartarus is going to happen next? Well, find out next time, on Dragon Ball Z! Wait- Wrong fandom.

All joking aside though, thank you to @purplebowlofdeath2 for the comment last chapter! It inspired me to write this chapter so soon after the last one! Also, I'm going to say, I will be diverging from canon a little! Aka, I'm adding some of my headcanons, some of which being, the Hunters of Artemis can date girls, the prophecy in TTC will have a slightly different outcome, and the Oracle is allowed to date, because that rule never made sense to me! There will be a lot more headcanons, and rewrites that I'll add, but I won't go into that too much! I wouldn't want to spoil it for everyone, too much at least. Oh, and, yes, I will have no mercy on dragging Luke down until there is physically nothing left of him, because I hate him, and I will never apologize for it. And, I will be making this story a little more mature than the original books, battle-wise, and Luke-wise.

I'll give a shoutout to whoever can guess the thing that will become (Y/N)'s fear/trauma in later chapters, based on his interaction with Luke, both in the fight, and in dialogue. I'll give you guys until my next update to guess. Luckily, my update schedule is random, so you guys may have weeks to guess, or just a few days. Good luck, to whoever tries!

Now, I'm done writing, because my shoulders hurt like hell from typing.
