A small apartment in a rural area, nothing special could be said from it.

The streets were plentiful of people that walked by the damaged road, neglected by the local authorities as they didn't see it fit to place funds on it since it still works.

Everyone here minds their business, no one seems to be at another's throat.

In the apartment, there lay a small room.

A bedroom to be exact, where a human sat on a chair just staring at their Computer with a bored expression on their face.

They wanted something new, and so they searched, and searched, and search, and searched again.

Till they found something, a forum threat in Reddit about a game. They were complaining about how hard it was to beat a Pun making skeleton monster named Sans.

That got them curious, Undertale was the name of the Game.

It has good reviews from the looks of it, they gave it a go.

They fell in love with it.

They played it more and more, they accomplished a lot of things, getting nearly every dialogue and completing every ending.

Yet as time passed, they started to get bored out of it too. Soon, they kept the Genocide run since they held a stupid curiousity of whether or not Sans could remember any and all past Resets since it was hinted, though he scoffed at the idea since the AI wouldn't be that advanced. He had to try it due to how stupid it was.

So he killed them, again and again, resetting only after beating Sans and not going after Asgore.

They did this.

Again and Again.

They experienced... something interesting.

Most Interesting.

What is Magic? Is it a primordial energy that has existed since time immemorial? A force that weaves through the fabric of space and time? Of creation and destruction?

Truthfully, it is all of these. It neither has a beginning, or an ending. It simply just is.

An energy, a force.

From where though, does it generate?

From the mind?

From the Body?

From the Soul?

Does it even come from something?

No mortal scholars have yet to fully unveil this mystery, not even the Gods that govern the reality where they could, would, or should have resided from.

Short answer: It simply is.

It however, strangely as it is nonsensical, does have its own attributes, affinities and such.

Magic is fluid, viscous. Formless yet filled with form. It can be anything, but also can be nothing.

Magic can be whatever you desire. But it cannot be whatever you desire.

Rules imposed upon the system of power, bendable but dependable.

Both perfect yet a flaw.

It can be taken, molded, copied, and more.

Where does Attributes and affinities fall under these categories if Magic is all and none?

It can be situated the same as how molecules and atoms are structured.
