[Open on the inside of the Owl House, Luz is asleep and her alarm is about to go off, Y/N didn't even bother to put and alarm because it was a free day and they had no school that day.]
[Alarms goes off.]
Luz: [Wakes up.] Good morning, Boiling Isles!
[Luz jumps out of her sleeping bag and rushes to wake up Y/N, but is stopped by Hooty.]
Hooty: Morning, Luz!
Luz: Morning Hooty... um if you don't mind I'm trying to wake my friend up so...
Hooty: Ok! See you later.
Luz: Yeah, see you later. [Kicks Y/N room door in order to open it.] Wake up!
Y/N: [Groans.]
Luz: Don't such a crybaby.
Y/N: Why you have to do this... we don't even have school.
Luz: Because... Christmas is in two days!
Y/N: Wait, really?
Luz: Yes! It's the 23rd, see? [Shows him a calendar stacked of notes and different dates marked on it.] I've been counting the days since we got here.
Y/N: If you give me just five minutes, I promise I'll wake up without saying nothing, ok?
Luz: Ok. I'll go see if Eda or King are awake.
Y/N: Yeah... [yawns.] Whatever you say...
[Luz runs downstairs to go into the kitchen to find King sleeping on the table.]
Luz: Sure you always pick the weirdest places to take your nap.
King: It is hard to find the right spot every single day you know?
Luz: Anyways, I've got news for you King.
King: If it's not about a conquest mission, then I don't wanna hear it.
Luz: Oh, I guess you don't wanna hear about THE most wonderful time of the year?
King: Go on.
Luz: I'm talking about Christmas!
King: ...Is it like the time for sacrifices or something like that?
Luz: Wait, you don't know what Christmas is it?
King: Never heard of it.
Luz: Oh no, this is bad I've gotta teach you everything.
Eda: What is all this noise that is not letting me sleep, god damn it.
Luz: Eda! I was just talking with King and-
Eda: Once again, let me have my cup of apple blood before you say something.
[Eda makes a circle in the air to cast a sleep so she can drink her apple blood.]
Eda: [Takes a sip off the mug.] Much better, now what were you saying?
Luz: I was just talking with King about Christmas and-
Eda: A what now?
Luz: Christmas, THE time of the year.
Eda: I don't know what that is and I'm sure I don't wanna know.
Luz: But, how you don't want to know about Christmas? Just give it a chance, please...?
Eda: Fine... just because I don't feel like dealing with you puppy eyes... it's adorably annoying.
[Y/N comes in the kitchen still looking like he didn't sleep in the whole night.]
