🧣 "We could leave the christmas lights up till January"🧣

Snowflakes fall outside of the apartment window of a curly haired, doe eyed boy and his pet doberman. Jeon Jungkook, the owner of said apartment, lies tangled up in his bedsheets watching the snowfall.

His doberman, fittingly named Bam, rests his head on the end of Jungkook's bed (not so) patiently waiting to be fed for the morning. "Bam come" whispers Jungkook. He never has much energy in the morning so a quiet whisper is all Bam gets.

Jungkook gets up to give Bam his food and water before he gets ready to take him on his morning walk. There is one and only one thing that Jungkook likes about mornings and that is visiting the park around the block with Bam.

While the doberman eats, Jungkook takes a quick shower and readies himself for the walk. He throws on sweatpants, a sweatshirt, a beanie and a thick jacket since the weather is ungodly cold outside.

He grabs Bam's leash, poop bags, and his sketchbook then heads out the door. He takes the headphones from his neck and plays his winter walking playlist as he connects Bam's leash to his collar.

They decide to stop at the local cafe so Jungkook can get his coffee and breakfast to go for the morning. He thanks the worker who hands him his order and he finally gets on his way to the park.

The park Jungkook takes Bam to is the one they go to everyday. Just four blocks from their apartment, the park has gone through quite the change throughout the week. Snow has been falling for a day or two now, and all the leaves have finally fallen off of the trees signaling winter is here and not leaving for the next few months.

They find a bench in a large fenced portion of the park and Jungkook lets Bam off the leash. There are plenty of other dogs for him to play with to which he happily will. Jungkook knows Bam is well behaved so he doesn't put too much of a close eye on him other than to clean up any poo he may leave.

Breathing in the cold December air, Jungkook changes the music in his headphones to slower and more calming music as he pulls out his sketchbook. Drawing and painting is always a passion Jungkook had, and now he does it to be at peace with himself.

Before he finds the subject of the upcoming sketch, Jungkook looks around for Bam to make sure he's not in any trouble. And then it hits him. The most breathtaking, beautiful thing those big doe eyes have ever laid sight on.

Bam is sitting happily with his tail wagging against the ground while being pet by another boy. This said boy being that breathtaking, beautiful thing Junkook was NOT (he definitely was) admiring.

This boy with the black hair and dark eyes has the biggest boxy smile on his face while petting Bam. This is the moment when Jungkook realized he cannot pass up this opportunity. This boy will be the subject of his sketch. He is already in the perfect position. Legs crossed, gorgeous outfit, delicate hands, sparkly eyes, boxy smile... Bam's bark brings him out of his trance.

"Sorry Bammie" He reaches out and scratches Bam's head. The neglected tennis ball at his feet is picked up seconds later by the doberman and Jungkook happily throws it for him. Bam sprints away leaving Jungkook to his thoughts again.

He glances over across the path to look at that boy again. He seems to be around Jungkook's age, leaving him curious to know more about the mysterious park-goer.

He gathers the materials he needs for the sketch and gets into a comfortable position. He doesn't know how much time he has so he has to work quickly. He first sketched the figure. Delicately carving the beautiful figure of the boy on the bench. He adds some quick details to the background just to make the sketch more lively. He then starts working on the details of the boy. Adding in his clothing and facial features, making sure to put extra detail on his eyes and smile. To finish off the sketch he adds some snowflakes to capture the beautiful scene in front of him.

Feeling content, he signs his name on the bottom of the sketch and closes his sketchbook. The boy across from him is petting Bam once again is showing that boxy smile just like seconds ago. Jungkook has always been shy, especially when it comes to pretty boys with sparkly eyes and boxy smiles. Did I mention Jungkook loves this boy's smile?

He really wants to talk to this boy but he knows that the second he opens his mouth he will freeze. He also knows he's not bold enough and doesn't believe the boy will want to talk to him at all. He reopens his sketchbook to stare at the drawing he did of the boy before glancing back with a thought on his mind.
