🧣 "Can I go where you go?" 🧣

Bam whines in Jungkook's ear from the opposite side of the bed. Jungkook hardly ever lets Bam sleep in the bed with him, partially because he's so big, partially because Bam is not a quiet sleeper (He snores OBNOXIOUSLY loud). The exception last night was that Jungkook felt lonely. More lonely than usual. He is almost always able to handle it, but after that encounter with the beautiful bo-Taehyung- he couldn't help it.

Jungkook and Taehyung have crossed paths multiple times since then and every time Jungkook just cannot help the blush that creeps up on his face. He already likes Taehyung. Bam whines again which forces Jungkook out of bed to feed him. "Sorry Bam I forgot to pick up your food yesterday," Jungkook sighs. He hates to have to go to the store this morning but Bam needs to be fed. He also hates leaving Bam alone because he feels that social interaction is important for a dog in training. However he absolutely cannot take bam to the pet store on an empty stomach. He never behaves in that situation.

After getting ready quickly, he slides on some shoes and a coat, grabs his wallet and headphones and goes to walk out the door. "Sorry Bam I'll only be gone a few minutes" he smiles sadly and closes the door.

Walking in the cold to the pet store is the last thing Jungkook wants to be doing. He is grabbing Bam's food and going back home to the warmth of his apartment. The snow is still falling and is getting caught in those raven curls on his head. He was too lazy to put contacts in, so he just left in his glasses. The snow falling on them and blocking his vision proved that to be a horrible idea.

He reaches the pet store and heads straight to the dog food section. Looking around for Bam's food he hears a very familiar, velvety voice talking to someone.

"Tannie you cannot take home every toy that you see"

Taehyung. 'Oh god that's definitely him right? God this will be so awkward if he sees me.' Jungkook tries to quicken his pace so he can leave before he makes a fool of himself when Taehyung finds him. He finally sees the food that Bam needs. He snatches a bag and quickly turns to leave when he is met with another human in his path.

"Oh my god I am so sorry! My dog was pulling me and I wasn't paying attention to anything else. Are you hurt?" You can hear the clear concern in Taehyung's voice. Jungkook just looks away in hopes of hiding the evident blush on his face. "Wait, Jungkook? Hi!" 'Crap he recognized me. Don't Panic, and DO NOT embarrass yourself.' He takes a deep breath and clears his throat.

"Uh hey! Yeah I am alright are you?" Well he made it through one sentence. "Yeah we are good as well!" Jungkook looks down at the little dog on the leash that Taehyung is holding. 'Such a cutie like his owner,' Jungkook thinks. "Oh! This is my dog Yeontan. He's friendly, just excited to be around lots of food and toys," Taehyung giggles. Jungkook loves his little laughs already and he has only heard it a couple of times.

"He's super cute Taehyung-ssi. You two fit together-" he cuts himself off. There is no point in hiding the blush on his face. His widened eyes give it away anyways. Taehyung giggles again and wait- 'is he blushing too?' Jungkook clears his throat again and is about to announce his leave when Taehyung stops him. "Thank you for that drawing. I thought it was really beautiful," he says. If Jungkook was a shy mess before then he is a complete disaster now.

"Oh um.. you're welcome. It's really nothing.. Just a hobby of mine" and there goes all of the very small bits of confidence he had. "Well I appreciate it. I mean it though, it was really good even though it was just a sketch. No one has ever drawn me so I was a little surprised" Taehyung admits.
"I would love to see more of your drawings. I bet they are all really good"

Jungkook's eyes go impossibly wide. Did he just-? Is he dreaming? 'Did pretty bo-Taehyung- just say he wants to see my artwork?' No way. None. Jungkook is definitely dreaming and- Taehyung is giggling. That same giggling he heard in the park and just a few minutes ago. Confusion waves over his face.

"I am asking you on a date silly," Taehyung giggles. "I can see you blushing Jungkookie"

'Crap' is all Jungkook can think. This insanely pretty boy is looking at him with his insanely pretty eyes after asking him to go out and all he can do is stand there frozen, face covered in a rosy glow. "Oh um.. yeah that sounds nice.." Jungkook says barely above a whisper. God he has never been so nervous before. What is this boy doing to him?
