Isabella's POV

"Isabella is that your recording equipment?" Jack Hughes asks as he points to the microphone and other recording equipment that's set up in my hotel suite.

My teammates and I are hanging out in my suite in our Boston hotel while watching a replay of the Canada v Austria game.

We play Austria tomorrow in our Round of 16 game.

Our games against France was so fucking boring.

"Yeah." I say. "I was recording a new song during the rain storm."

"Isn't your new feature out today?" Matthew Tkachuk asks.

"Yeah." I say then I pull out my phone and play the new song I'm on.

A couple minutes into the song, my feature begins.

It's a cold world you should stay off this dick
I sold out the Garden, I should play for the Knicks
Took a couple minutes and I sold out Staples
A nigga getting cream like an old ass Laker
But I ain't coming to talk about all that paper
That's what they talk about when they ain't got shit to say
Can't understand why niggas never got shit to do
You know the saying, same shit nigga, different day
I never felt that, no way
Cause on the same day a nigga doing different shit
Spit different flows hit different chicks
Let my Brixton hoes feed me fish and chips
Why I do a lot of shows? I'm the shit, that's it
Got suicidal doors, I just slit my wrists
Never stingy with the hoes word to Cliff and Chris
So if I fuck six chicks I got six assists nigga
The flow sick as shit, catch ebola if you bit this shit
I never take, I invent the shit then flip the shit
Then lick the shit, and bit the shit back twice, I'm that nice, woo
What's the plan?
I keep snapping like a Mustard jam
Got a middle finger for Uncle Sam
I done paid so much taxes I can fund Japan
But instead they make a young nigga fund the man
Same man that keep a young nigga under, damn
I just cocked back nigga and my gun don't jam
On a scale from one to ten I'm a hundred grand
Nigga

"Well you have the best verse." Kendrick says.

"I always do." I say.

"I've never asked this, but why do you only use the N-word in your music and not your everyday life?" Ezra asks.

"Well with my music I just let words flow out and if it fits then I'll keep it in the song." I say. "And when I was growing up my dad told me if I wanted to make it in the NHL then I shouldn't say the n-word because then owners of teams would paint me as a thug so I guess after a while it just left my vocabulary."

"Knowing the other owners." Auston says. "You're dad's a very smart man."

"Yes he is Auston." I say as I look at the two graphics on the tv.
