I know sum of you must be thinking what happened to DEREK (Brian's older brother) well that's coming up. And if any are confused about the whole twin and eyes thing I'll explain..... 

All werewolves eyes are naturally brown, but if you have a twin then your born with any other color. If your away from ypur twin over a long period of time then your eyes turn brown, like liams and brian, liams twin leon died so his eyes changed to brown and brians eyes changed to brown because he hasn't been around tiff (he has his own condo). ~*~Kat's Pov~*~

Mrs.Hunter(Brian's mom) was coming towards me fast,out of the corner of my eye I saw brian and the rest of the pack shift , blocking Mrs.Hunter from eating me alive. Why are they protecting me? They just met me.  

Hey I'm not complaining I'm just curious. A little brown wolf with white spots came up to me and kissed my cheek or shall I say licked.

Mrs.Hunter growled and ran out the back door. Everyone shifted back into their human form and got dress.

"Are you ok sissy" I loomed at Liam who was naked.

"Liam! Put some close on babe and yes I'm ok" he smiled and ran up the stairs. The pack was looking at me with worry. 

Brian came forward and helped me up.

"Are you ok kat?" he said while kissing my cheek.

I nodded  

"yea I'm ok" I looked at the pack "thank you for protecting me."

"No problem we will protect our soon to be alpha female anytime" A red head said.She was pale which was unusual everyone else was tanned. alpha female?

I looked at Brian for an explanation but he had the same confused face on his.

"You told me Derek and his mate were next in line" I asked Brian. Everyones face turned sad.

"Star where's Derek? Where's my brother?" Brian asmed you could here the pain in his voice.

"We were gonna tell you when you settled down. He died 2days ago a rogue killed him." Brians hand tightened around my waist. I hugged him tightly afraid he'll run off.

"Why didn't you call? Your his mate for got sakes its your duty to tell me what happened!" He was shaking. "Did you have the funeral yet?"  

Star put her head down in shame and nodded.  

"I'm sorry" she whispered.

"Calm him down he's gonna change"a voice whispered in my ear. I turned to see who it was .Tiffany.

"How" he's freaking fuming I've never seen him this mad. 

She brought her finger towards her lips. I nodded.

"Brian" I said shyly even I was minda scared. 

He looked at me with so much hurt in his eyes I felt bad. 

I reached up and placed a hand on his cheek looking him directly in his eyes.

"Calm down baby" I kissed him that wonderful feeling came making me shiver in pleasure. Slowly his shaking stopped and he pulled away. He layed a sweet kiss on my lips, a silent thank you. I nodded and continued to hug him.

"Come on you to need to get unpacked" tiffany said.

"Wait were staying"

Brian nodded and led me upstairs.
