Forgotten

"Kazuha!" Shinobu called out. She started to walk faster, making you speed up your walking as well. The male in front of you turned around and gave a small smile.

"Shinobu, what's wrong?" he said with a calm soothing voice. You and Shinobu stopped in front of him.

"Nothings wrong, kind of" Shinobu said the last part a little quietly but both you and Kazuha heard her.

"What happened?" he asked, a bit worried. Shinobu raised her eyebrows and started shaking her head.

"Nothing happened to me, don't worry. If you look to my right, there is a girl" she said and Kazuha for the first time looked at you.

"She is having some problem with a certain teal headed boy" she said and Kazuha gave a small chuckle.

"I think he has a problem with everyone" he says and gives you a smile.

"I'm sorry but he knows me apparently and I don't know him. Do you maybe know why he dislikes some people?" you ask. Kazuha started frowning.

"May I ask what your name is?" he asks you. You look at Shinobu and then back towards Kazuha.

"My name is Y/n L/n" you say and Kazuha's smile faded. He looked away for a few seconds and then around you.

"Let's talk somewhere more private" he said and he started walking with you and Shinobu behind him. You walked up some stairs and then down a hall. The whole walk was quiet, just a few glances between you and Shinobu. Kazuha then opened a door and walked in. He held the door for the two of you and you entered. Kazuha slightly closed the door.

"You say you don't know him right?" he asked all of a sudden, looking at you. You shake your head.

"No, I don't recall ever seeing him before" you say. It is true, I don't know anyone with the name Xiao. Am I really that forgetful?

"The name Xiao would be hard to forget, I've never heard that name before" you say and Shinobu nodded.

"She's not lying," she said. Kazuha sighed and walked closer to you, studying your face.

"He started to use the name Xiao when he started here. His real name is Alatus" Kazuha said and it clicked in your brain. You looked at the male in front of you with a shocked face. No...No..

"You seem to remember now," Kazuha said. You swallowed and looked down feeling your body shake. Shinobu noticed and grabbed your arm.

"Hey, are you okay?" she asked. All you could do was look down at your feet. It can't be him, no please. Why did I not remember his face? His voice?

"Y/n?" Shinobu started to shake your shoulders making you slowly look at her.

"Hey, what happened?" she asked. You look at her and then Kazuha who has a blank face.

"I didn't mean for it to happen" you said with a shaky voice. Kazuha sighed.

"I've only heard his side of the story so it's hard to judge, but what he told me, it sounds like you are guilty," he said. You look down again. So that's why he hates me. Makes sense, I would hate me too. In fact I do already hate myself.

"Do you want to tell me your side of the story?" Kazuha asked and gave a deep sigh.

"Yes, but it's not like it will make me less guilty," you said.

You walked out of the room with Shinobu and Kazuha. You had told them the story. Shinobu seemed shocked and Kazuha seemed confused. He told you that some things did not add up and you swore to him that you were telling the story how you remembered it. You turned towards Kazuha and put your hand on your chest above your heart.

"I promise I told you the truth. If you believe me or not is up to you. I really had no intentions on hurting anyone" you said and started to slowly walk away. You slowly looked up and saw Xiao walking towards you. The both of you stopped a few feet away from each other. You locked eyes as you frown.

"Shit" you heard him say.

So... short chapter, sorry. Next chapter is going to be about the past I did not include because it would be so long. Also because I'm trying to come up with a good past. Hope you liked this chapter, see you! :)
