Unknown truth

"I know it wasn't you who blew up Xiao's hause" Kunikuzushi said. You stared at him for a few seconds before frowning.

"What?" you managed to say. He sighed deeply.

"You heard me. I know it wasn't you"

"How would you know?" you said, making him stare at you.

"Because I know the person who did it"

"Are you just pranking me right now? because it isn't funny!" you said a bit angry. He looked down and shaked his head.

"You don't understand how long I've kept this a secret. To not be able to tell Xiao, and to pretend I didn't know. All along i've known about it and I..." he stopped and you squinted your eyes and looked at him.

"You what?" you said carefully and quietly, but loud enough for him to hear. He looked at the floor for a few seconds before looking up at you.

"If I told Xiao...I would have to sacrifice my little sister" he said. You stared at him and gaped a little.

"Y-your little sister?"

"He threatened all of us who knew. If we told Xiao - Alatus then our most loved one would be sacrificed" he said. You looked shocked and a bit sad. You didn't know what to say. He knew. He knew all along. And he got threatened. You closed your eyes and then looked at him with serious eyes.

"Who is HE?" you asked. You had to know. The person that made you guilty and lied. The person who threatened others that knew. The person who bombed a house for no goddamn reason! The person who put a little girl in the hospital! Who.... Just who was it? Your blood started to boil more and more as Kunikuzushi kept quiet. He didn't even look at you anymore. He looked at his feet and seemed to think.

"I can't tell you" he said, which finally made you snap.

"Are you fucking kidding me? You tell me this and then you can't tell who's responsible?! What was the point in telling me then?! A little girl ended up in the damn hospital and now her older brother thinks I'm the one who did it!" you yelled. He didn't react. He just sighed, which made you more pissed off.

"Just fucking tell me! Because that person needs to end up in prison!" you said and he looked at you.

"If I tell you then your loved ones will end up in danger" he said and you looked disgusted.

"I don't have any loved ones left. I've never loved anyone. Everyone in my life left scars so believe me, I have no loved ones" you said and blinked.

"Not even your brother?" he then said which made you back away a step. Wait....What?

"Isn't he someone you care about?" Kunikuzushi asked. How does he know? I haven't even told people I have a brother. Kunikuzushi stared at you. He let his hands lean against the desk he leaned into. You were both quiet until he spoke again.

"He means something to you. If you know who it was and tell anyone, then he will be in danger. Not only him, but you too" you looked at him and then looked out the window.

"I haven't seen my brother in years" you said. He looked at you but you didn't look away from the window.

"He disappeared and never returned. I don't know where he is now. He didn't even send letters or let us know that he was okay" you said softly and then looked at the floor. Kunikuzushi looked at you for a bit and then sighed before coming closer to you. He leaned at the desk you leaned into. You looked at him.

"Just tell me who did it. I promise I won't tell anyone" you said and he frowned.

"Can I really trust you with that information?" he asked and you sighed.
