I went outside for a little fresh air... My tail was blowing in the cold wind with the starry night. I needed to think about what he said! If some is really out for me then why? Why a forest ranger? Is it because of my breed? Is it because I know cyno? Or was it really just a distraction? All these questions were spinning through my mind. What if it's the cause of Collei? Chance of being- I wont bore you with my logic thinking for now...

I wondered if it was Dottore? He's still on the loose...HA but why would he go for me? He seems pretty organized for someone like him! I dont think he'd leave his paper on the floor anyways, unless if it was on purpose...

~Cyno's POV~

I was walking back to the other matra, I was walking pretty slow... i should have been running back but- what if Tighnari gets hurt? It's too late now so I started to pick up the pace.

Later I finally made it to the place where we found the papers, I saw all the matra dead on the cold floor! Whoever this is must be strong! I immediately ran to the akademiya (idk how to spell that kind of stuff) to report it.

My eyes widened in fear as the others in the room with the matra were dead in the akademiya! It wasn't only matra but others! Tighnari was right, it was a trap! And I fell for it...  I'm so dumb! How could I-... I now understand why one of the rules was no emotional attachment (which he still doesnt listen to)

"HEY, WHO DID THIS? SHOW YOURSELF!!!" I screamed with anger in my eyes and a cold voice (Got that from c.ai when I broke the nilou bot)

"HEY!!"

I listened for movement but it seemed that every one in the room 'cept for me was dead!

"..." i looked down at the ground and clenched my fist "i'll find out who did this- by myself!"

~tighnari's POV~

(thus part is so cringy but It's kinda important Ig)

I walked back inside and I saw Collei with a nervous face and looked very worried as if she did something wrong.

"COLLEI what's wrong?! What happened?! Did someone come in?!"

"Oh, no, no! Master it's nothing!"

"No, tell me!" I put my hand on her shoulder

She wacked my hand away and said "I SAID IT'S NOTHING DAD!"

"'Dad'?!"

"I mean I'm sorry! didn't mean to! And sorry for screaming... Master are you crying"

"Am I crying?" I wipe my face to see tears "humm"

"Yes uh I broke the lamp that's why I was scared I didn't want you to be mad so I tried to clean it up but you came home and umm Please don't cry!!"

"N-no that's not why im crying"I wiped off my tears and continued "*sniff* you see me as your dad?"

"Well... you and cyno..." she looks down and fidgets her fingers "you know what it's- stupid! Forget what I said!"

"..." I started blushing "uhh... me and cyno?"

"Mhm! He comes all the time and he's the reason why I'm- well... me! He saved my life and whenever he comes over he's so kind- I guess I'm making this awkward for you since you're not dating... I mean if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have ever met!"

"I can't just ask out the head the matra! What if i give him a bad reputation or something- Wait did i say that out loud"

"YOU LIKE HIM?!" Collei screamed in joy

I start blushing again "shh i'm standing right next to you I can hear you!!! But yes..."

"Heh sorry i keep forgetting"

~the next day~

I was walking slowly in the forest like I do every day with the wind in my ears and my hair flowing In the breeze. I liked sitting by the river for a few minutes in the morning to relax and wake up but just as I arrived I could hear footsteps in the distance.

"TIGHNARI" on of the forest ranger screamed at me

"Keep your voice down! This better be important" i responded

"Someones injured! Come follow me"

We rushed back to Gandharva ville (once again Idk how to spell this stuff) and he showed me the patient.

"Ok lets see- oh my! What the fuck"
