Immi screamed the loudest, wildest scream she had ever screamed before. Alana's blood spilled on the forest floor. Dimitri ran away with an unconscious Cindie over his shoulder.

"NO," she howled. "NO!!" Before she could stop herself, heat burned behind her eyes.

"Immi," Atlas, attention now on her, spoke cautiously.

"NO," Immi wailed again and lost control.

Everything was a blur. All she could feel was grief. She fell to her knees, sobbing boiling hot tears. Smoke and flames surrounded her and she saw, through her blurred vision, Atlas back away.

She wanted to stop but she couldn't. She couldn't just forget. The scene replayed over and over again. She had been to scared that she had just stood there and watched.

The blood all over. She was drowning in blood. Immi started bellowing over and over again.

~~~
 Suddenly Immi felt cold. Colder than she had ever felt in her life. The flames suddenly stopped and were absorbed by her body. She realized she was wet, but didn't quite know how; Atlas rushed forward in an instant and hugged her tightly.
"Immi, Immi, calm down." His voice was level and stern.
"But, Alana..." sobbed Immi and the flames started to fill her eyes again.
"Immi, stop," said Atlas. Immi looked up but Atlas put his face on hers.
 Immi stopped. Atlas kissed her.
He pulled away quickly and stared at her. Immi stared at him. Before anyone could say anything a bright light pierced the now night sky. A figure stood against the light. A woman with long, smooth, black hair and shocking white eyes. Her robes billowed around her and she took a step toward Immi and Atlas.
"Lovely show of affection," she said in an accent Immi did not recognize. "I am Yunma, and I will help you."
