Dimitri set off by himself with his armor, sword, and food. He would track Cindie. He knew her well. He knew her preferences, he knew her needs, he knew her mentality. She would think to go to a big city first. If they were trying to ignite Italzi's skill she would think there were many potion shops in a big city. He also knew their general direction because he saw Cindie's bouquet heading south.
Crane. That's where they'd go. Crane is the biggest city south of the Capitol. Dimitri set off south, heading toward there. He traveled for three days until he arrived at a little town called Dexton.
"Sir, sir!" called a teenager no older than Dimitri.
"Yes?" answered Dimitri.
"You're a Knight right?" he asked and he continued when Dimitri nodded. "My cousin, Alana Carwel, I think she was kidnapped."
"What's your name, boy?" asked Dimitri.
"Vigor. Vigor Carwel."
"Mr. Carwel, when was the last time you saw Alana?" Dimitri pinched the bridge of his nose and exhaled. He was supposed to be finding Italzi, not searching for people's cousins.
But maybe this could give him a lead.
"A week ago, when I was staying over."
"Did she have any plans to go anywhere?"
"No not that I know of. But, at her house, there were signs of a break-in. A window was broken and the place was a mess."
"Do you have any idea where she might have gone?" asked Dimitri.
"No, no idea."
"I'll take it from here, Vigor, thank you for your help though."
"Thank you, sir," said Vigor. "Please find her," he yelled after him.
"I will," mumbled Dimitri.

FantasyI wrote a "book" with some old friends, starting in 7th grade and completing it in 8th. It tells the tales of an exiled girl on a mission to overthrow a horrid tyrant, with accomplices, situationships, and an enemy who may not be what people think.
