CHAPTER 12 (SHAY)

"I really like that dress on you shay. it fits you perfectly" lyric said after i came out of the dressing room.

"you really think this looks good? or are you just saying that so we can leave" i asked with my hands on my hips.

I dragged lyric to the mall with me so i could buy me a new dress. rain and I are going salsa dancing tonight. i picked out a teal skinny strapped dress that reached mid thigh. the dress hugged all of my curves, but when i spin around it flares at the bottom from the layers.

"no girl you are wearing the hell out of that dress, buy it so we can go" she huffed

i felt a strong aura behind me. i turned around. there was a guy leaning against one of the racks with mens clothes staring at me. he had dark brown eyes that looked black, dark black hair, sexy lips, thick long lashes around his slightly slanted eyes. by the way his black shirt was straining against his chest i could tell he has a nice body under that shirt.

i sucked in a breath and looked away from him. i sniffed the air. he is a wolf, but not from our pack.

"damn! if i didn't have a mate i would be all over that' lyric said fanning herself

"but you do, so back down girl' i laughed

"so are you getting the dress or not shay" lyric asked

"ummm" i started but was cut off by the stranger.

"i think you should get it, it hugs you body just right. it's not slutty but sexy" he said with a sexy smile on his face.

i couldn't help but blush a little bit. " and you would be?' i asked

" i would be cole' he said hold his hand out.

i took his hand and he raised it to his lips and kissed the back of it. i got butterflies in my stomach for a second. i snatched my hand back" im shay and this is my friend lyric. nice to meet you cole but we have to go" i said

" all the beautiful ones are always mated already" he said shaking his head " it's been a pleasure meeting you shay" he said in a sexy voice.

something about him didn't sit right with me, he screamed danger. after we checked out we left the mall to go home. i couldn't get that sexy but weird guy out of my head.

"umm shay are you going to get out of the car?" lyric asked after pushing my shoulder

"yeah" i laughed lightly

"thinking about that cole guy aren't you' she asked

'what! no way. your crazy, i have a mate, i am fully mated to rain now" i snapped

"yup you were thinking about him" she laughed getting out of the car.

i stomped out the car because i hate when she reads me like a book. tessa was in the kitchen waiting on her when we walked in the door. she ran right into lyrics arms. i smiled and went to my room.

rain was laying on the bed in his boxers playing candy crush on his phone.

"hey babe how was shopping' he asked not looking away from his screen.

"fine, but i met some weird guy" i said

rain's grey eyes snapped to my face." who was he?" he asked

"i don't know him, he just said the dress i picked was a good choice. then he kissed my hand and told me his name was cole' i replied.

rain's eyes turned silver, they started glowing slightly." what did he look like " he asked me

i told him what he looked like and even threw in there that he looks like he could be around klous's age or a little older.

"i don't know why that name and that description you gave me seems so familar" he said thinking hard about where he might know cole from.

"something about him just screamed danger to me, he kinda freaked me out a little"

rains eyes turned back to grey when i sat on the bed and rubbed the back of his hand. his breathing returned to normal and he relaxed.

"so let me see this sexy dress of yours"

"not until we get ready to leave' i said

"okay well start getting ready we are leaving in 2 hours' he said picking his phone back up.

" i have something else in mind before i get ready " i said crawling over to him and taking his phone.

"and what is that" rain smirked as i pulled his boxers down.

"ooh that' he said

"yeah that"
