Lexi
I yawned and opened my eyes, squinting at the sun in my face. "Blake?" I whispered. Blake flipped over. "Hey." He smiled, rubbing his eyes. His blondish-brown hair was tousled and his eyes showed he was clearly still tired. "How late did we stay up last night?" I asked, as another yawn escaped me. He grinned. "3." Blake answered, matter-of-factly. I gasped. "3?!" He laughed. "Yep." Blake said, sitting up. "Wow." I said, under my breath. Blake grinned. "What? You don't like being a night-owl?" He teased. "It's the morning I don't like." I yawned. "Hey! You don't like waking up to this?" He said, pointing at his t-shirt covered abs. I punched him. "Ow! I was just asking you a question!" He said, scooting away from me. I laughed. "Of course you were, Narcissitic Boy!" I said, ruffling his hair. "Hey, my hair!" He said, pretending to fix his tousled hair. "Haha, yeah right." I said, standing up.

"Where are you going?" I asked Lexi. "I'm going to go get breakfast. I'm hungry!" She said, fixing her ponytail. Her stomach showed and I laughed. "What?" She asked. I straightened up. "Nothing. Sorry." I said with a serious face. She stuck her tongue out at me and walked out of the room. "Hey, you know it isn't polite to go through my food!" I yelled after her. "So sad." She said, coming back in. "Hey, those are mine!" I said, jumping up. She was eating my favorite cereal. "There's more in there." She said, sitting down at the table. I gave her the evil eye and went to find my own food. "You're so helpful to give directions to where stuff is in MY house." I called back, stressing the 'my.' "Well, excu-use me!" She yelled back. I laughed to myself and poured the cereal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, my favorite. I finished the box and got the milk, making a show of me pouring it. "Yo, doofus. Whatcha doing?" I heard someone say loudly behind. "Brian! What are you doing here?!" I asked, annoyed. My brother is not supposed to be here. This is me and Lex's time. "Just wanted to see my bro, you know?" He said, coolly. "Whatever. You should go. Lex and I just woke up." I said, grabbing a spoon and glaring at him. "Ooh, so you and Lex are together now?" Brian teased. "Shut up, you know me and Lex do this all the time." I spat. Just leave. "What are you doing here anyway?" I said, putting cereal in my mouth. "Well, I came to get some clothes, dear brother." He said in a snotty way. He really was nice, but I hated it when he interrupted my plans. "Whatever." I said, walking into the den. "Brian's here?" Lex asked, finishing her cereal. Dang, I wanted to have breakfast with her. "Yeah, he has to get some stuff." I said, sitting down beside her at the table. "Okay. When are we leaving?" She asked, quirking her brow. Cute. "Probably at 9?" I asked. "That sounds good. Where are we going?" Lex asked. "The mall, lunch, pet shop, gamestop, smoothie king?" I half-asked/told. "Pet shop? Smoothie King?" She asked. "Yeah, you don't mind, do you?" I asked, continuing to eat my cereal. "No, I don't mind." She grinned. "What?" I asked, laughing. "You have cinnamon on your face." She said, giggling. I laughed. "So do you." I said. "I do not, Blake Somers!" She exclaimed, licking her face. "Not anymore." I laughed out, licking my own face and drinking my milk. "Yo!" Someone yelled, coming into the den. Brian. "Hey, Bri!" Lex smiled. That's a pretty smile to be wasting on Brian. "Hey, Alex! Whatcha doing?" He said, leaning against the wall. "I'm just about to go take a shower and get ready to go." She said, standing up and grabbing her bag. "Where?" Brian asked. "Oh, I'm going out with Blake today." She said, like it was nothing. "Oh, I have a special class today." Brian groaned. She gave him a sympathetic smile. "I'm sorry." She said. "It's okay." He frowned. "Okay, well, I'll see you later. I'm going to get into the shower." Lex said, hugging Brian. She never hugs me like that. I watched her exit the den and then I turned back to Brian. "So?" I questioned him. "Don't worry now. I'm leaving." He muttered, going through the den door and exiting the house. I sighed. Bri just had to wreck my morning. I grabbed my empty bowl and spoon and carried it into the kitchen. I smiled as I thought, It'll get better when I get her that pet. The only reason we're going to the pet shop. It made me grin and I walked into my room, grabbing a towel and heading to my personal bathroom. She was using the guest bathroom so I decided to take a shower now too. Minutes later and I was done. I pulled on my blue jeans and dried my hair. I heard a bang and I dropped the white t-shirt I had pulled out. It sounded like it came from the guest bathroom and all I could think was Lex!
