It was the very next day that Allarria was crowned as a princess of the seven kingdoms; after all, most of those of good standing in society were here, and it made no sense to call them back a mere month later. That's how Alicent and Helaena found themselves in her chambers, watching her maids ready her for the day, making sure that everything was done right. And it was; her hair was in an elaborate braid on the top of her head with small white gems dotted throughout, and her black and red dress had gold and blue dragons embroidered throughout. She looked like a princess, that was for certain, yet as Alicent observed the girl, she couldn't help but observe her shaking fingers and the deep sighs she would give every so often.

"Helaena dearest, would you give us a moment?" Alicent pressed a hand to her daughter's shoulder, trying not to wince as she watched the girl flinch away, only watching with a sad smile as her daughter left the room.

"She does love you," Allarria whispered, unable to look at Alicent. "She talks of you a lot, and it actually gets rather annoying sometimes."

Her words had Alicent unable to stop the small smile gracing her face before turning to Allarria, using her two forefingers to lift her chin. "Why do you look so unhappy? Today is supposed to be a joyous day."

"I... feel guilty" It was clear that the only reason Alicent still held her gaze was because her chin was in her hands.

"And why is that?"

"My mother gave her life for me... and here I am wishing you were her." As she spoke, Allarria tore her head from Alicent's grasp, returning her gaze to the black pumps she had on her feet.
