The eleventh hour

12 YEARS LATER:

(When the box finally materialises, steaming, it is day and the Pond sisters are not there. The Doctor stumbles out.)

DOCTOR: "Amelia! Lilly, I worked out what it was. I know wh at I was missing! You've got to get out of there!"

[Hallway]

DOCTOR: "Amelia? Lilliana, are you two all right? Are you there?"

(He runs up to their bedroom door.)

DOCTOR: "Prisoner Zero's here. Prisoner Zero is here! Prisoner Zero is here! Do you understand me? Prisoner Zero is -"

(A floorboard creaks behind him. He turns and gets knocked out by a cricket bat.)

[Corridor]

(The Doctor revives with the tweeting of birds to see two young lady's one in a micro-skirted police uniform using her radio.and the other standing against a door frame staring at the Doctor ,also in a police uniform .)

AMY: "White male, mid twenties, breaking and entering. Send us some back-up. We've got him restrained. Oi! You, sit still."she says talking into her radio asking for 'backup'

DOCTOR: "Cricket bat. I'm getting cricket bat."he say rubbing the back of his head.

LILY : "You were breaking and entering."She say still staring at the Doctor.

(The Doctor is handcuffed to the radiator.)

DOCTOR: "Well, that's much better. Brand new me. Whack on the head, just what I needed."

AMY: "Do you want to shut up now? We've got back up on the way."

DOCTOR: "Hang on, no, wait. You're policewomen?"

LILY: "And you're breaking and entering. You see how this works?"she says pushing herself off the doorframe and walks close to Amy.

DOCTOR: "But what are you doing here? Where's Amelia? Where's Lilliana?"he asks looking around for the girls .

AMY: "Amelia Pond? Lilliana Pond?"

DOCTOR: "Yeah, Amelia and Lilliana . Little Scottish girls . Where are they ? I promised Lilliana five minutes but the engines were phasing. I suppose I must have gone a bit far. Has something happened to them ?"
He say now getting a bit concerned for the little girls

AMY: "Amelia and Lilliana Pond haven't lived here in a long time."

DOCTOR: "How long?"he asks looking at them scared.

LILY : "Six months."she replies bluntly

DOCTOR: "No. No. No. No, I can't be six months late. I said five minutes. I promised. What happened to them? What happened to the Ponds?"he says tugging on the handcuffs trying to get them off.

AMY: (into radio) "Sarge, it's me again. Hurry it up. This guy knows something about Amelia and Lilliana Pond."she says moving closer to Lily .

( Amy and Lily walk away to talk)

DOCTOR : " I pinky promised." He says solemnly looking down at his hands.

(The girls come back)

DOCTOR: "I need to speak to whoever lives in this house right now."he says composing himself

AMY: "We live here."she says pointing to herself and Lily

DOCTOR: "But you're the police."he says stating the obvious

LILY: "Yes, and this is where we live. Have you got a problem with that?"she replies .
