Ultraman X and Daichi. Using the Ultimate Aegis from their Ultimate Zero Cyber Card, they landed back on an oh so familiar Earth. It had been ten years since the defeat of Zaigorg, the defeat of Greeza, and the end of the Dark Thunder Energy crisis. The Ultimate Aegis disappeared into digital particulates with the early morning glow illuminating X's body. The Earth didn't need an Ultraman anymore at this point, UNVER and Xio were able to handle it. As X's form disappeared, he retreated back inside the X Devizer, transmuting himself back into energy to do so. Daichi yawned and headed back to the Xio base, the very same area Greeza was defeated at. Daichi noticed Lieutenant Tachibana there, working as always. "Morning, Lieutenant. Lab Team, Daichi Oozora, reporting in." He did a standard salute, unclipping the Devizer from his belt. "Come on X, you too."

The golden-framed Devizer lit up with X's visage showing. "Ah. Ultraman X reporting in as well." He wasn't much for small talk, since the other members of Xio weren't really accustomed to travelling across universes and thus wouldn't understand X's talks.

Daichi spoke up again. "Lieutenant, has anything happened while we were away? Anything past a Phase 2?" He clipped X back onto his belt, his uniform still intact and still form-fitting after those ten years had passed. Though he had worked with extremely impressive technology and with impressive people, he still appreciated the craftsmanship that went into the Xio uniforms.

Lieutenant Sayuri Tachibana, now 50 years old, still answered as diligently as she did ten years ago. "Good morning, Daichi. Fortunately, there's been nothing past a Phase 3, everything is all green. Just the occasional Type-G that gets lost. I still file the reports and keep them up to date strictly."

Daichi laughed quietly, hearing this. "Lieutenant, you gotta take a break eventually. At least put some rugby games on the monitor. You know our internet connection is the best in the world. Go on vacation, come on." Before he made any more suggestions about the Lieutenant's work/life balance, he cleared his throat. "Where's the Doc? Is he sleeping? I have some souvenirs for him."

Tachibana laughed lightheartedly at Daichi's suggestions. "You know I'm more at peace with myself when I'm here and I can respond at any time. Even if the rest of the crew hasn't arrived yet. Plus, the connection isn't for playing. I can call my daughters and husband at any time, you know that. As for your questions, Doctor Gourman is just in the hangar, tuning up the Musketty system. We never know what could happen."

Daichi was happy to see that the Lieutenant was as vigilant as always. He saluted, and then began to head over to the Musketty Hangar. "I'll be in the lab in a few minutes if anything's happening. I'm sure that it'll just be another wandering Type-G again." He joked about that last part, but he was as prepared as anyone else on the team was. As he headed into the hangar, there was some stray maintenance crew, and of course, the Alien Fanton he wanted to see. "Hey! Doc!"

"Oh, Daichi and X! If it isn't you two!" The alien turned to face the young man with his wide smile and stalky eyes. His name tag swung around as he did, Gourman then walking over to his fellow lab member. "How are you doing, my dear boy?" He heartily patted Daichi's back twice, laughing as he saw a very familiar face again.

Daichi tapped his Devizer a couple times, bringing up some new Cyber Cards. "Here, Doc. I have some gifts for you." He slid the semi-transparent cards over into the doctor's hands. "Your Ultraman collection is nearly complete, I want to say." When he and X went to Orb's world unwillingly, they managed to get a couple more cards and some data. Reminiscing on the first time he was the senior of another Ultraman, he smiled as the new cards completed their transfer.
