Avery walked in the club and was in awe with what she saw. Neon lights danced around the walls and floor like colorful police sirens. The music was as loud as thunder, the bass in sync with her rapid heart beat. Avery smiled at the crowded dance floor, everyone moved in time with the fast paced music. For the first time, Luke grabbed Avery's hand leading her to a table where his friends were sitting.

"Hey guys, this is my date Avery," Luke said to the table. "Avery, these are the guys in my band. Ashton, Calum and Michael."

"Hi," Avery smiled. "I like your purple hair," Avery said to Michael.

"It's lilac," Michael said before he took a big drink of his beer.

"It's fucking purple," Calum said to Michael. "This is my date Candy."

"Hi," Candy said back in a very deep voice. Deeper than any man Avery has ever heard.

Luke held back his laughter when Candy introduced herself. Luke noticed Candy's Adam's apple and a 5 o'clock shadow already forming. He brought a fucking dude, Luke thought.

"This is my date," Ashton stopped, he forgot his date's name.

"I'm Fanny," she smiled. Fanny looked about 40 years older than Ashton and wore very thick eyeglasses. Her hair was short and almost completely grey. Luke again wanted to laugh, no way was Avery going to beat them. He was starting to be happy she wouldn't.

"Nice to meet you all," Avery said.

"Where's your date Purple?" Luke asked Michael.

"She's in the bathroom, Breadstick," Michael sassed back.

"Breadstick?" Avery asked.

"They all think I look like a breadstick, something our fans started and now they won't shut the fuck up about it," Luke said annoyed.

"I can see it a little," Avery said looking at Luke causing the guys to laugh hysterically.

"No need to fear, Marcy is here!" A woman with a thick Brooklyn accent said stumbling toward the table. She wore a tight leopard dress, fishnet stockings and the highest heels anyone has ever seen.

"That is my date," Michael smiled as Marcy stumbled onto his lap.

"Hi everyone," Marcy smiled revealing she was missing all of her top teeth. Avery and Luke widened their eyes at the sight. Calum, and Ashton held back their laughter as they saw Luke's reaction to Michael's date.

Time went on and Avery smiled talking to the boy's dates. Avery found that her and Candy had a lot in common, they liked similar music and books. Ashton and his date got along very well, he sat with his arm around as they talked privately, Ashton absorbing the wisdom from his older date. Michael, Luke and Calum kept to themselves, mainly tossing back shots and arguing among themselves.

"Where's our fucking waitress? I need more beer," Luke slurred, evidence of the alcohol starting to work. The guys agreed.

"Waitress! Where's our fucking drinks!" Luke yelled again.

"Wow. You guys sure like to curse don't you?"

"Nope. We just like to drink," Luke snapped.

"I'm taking it you don't curse sweetie?" Candy asked Avery.

"No, I don't," Avery awkwardly said.

"Looks like you've got yourself a good girl Luke," Candy laughed.

"She just hasn't been caught yet," Calum and Michael said at the same time and gave each other a high five.

"Hey Candy, do you want to dance?" Calum asked Candy extending his hand out and Candy accepted.
