Luke's eyes quickly shot open at the loud ringing of his phone's alarm clock. He quietly rolled over to turn it off without waking Avery up. He turned back to Avery who was still asleep with a faint smile on her face. He let out a quiet sigh knowing his time with Avery was now coming to an end, and in only hours he would be on a plane traveling across the world to start his world tour. He swung his legs over the side of the bed and wiped the sleep from his eyes. He slowly rose from the bed and he searched the dark room for his clothes. Using the dim light from his phone he found his underwear on the floor and he slowly slipped them over his legs.

"Good morning," Avery softly said.

"Did I wake you?" Luke said pulling his underwear up.

"Yeah, it's okay," Avery said turning on the lamp that sat on her nightstand. "Can you turn around," Avery blushed as she grabbed the bed's sheet and wrapped it around herself.

"Yeah," Luke laughed. "Here," Luke said throwing her her nightgown.

"Thanks," Avery giggled. "Did you get any sleep?" She said pulling her nightgown over her head.

"No, not really. The morning came too quick," Luke frowned. "You're a cute sleeper," Luke smiled.

"Were you really watching me sleep?"

"Can I turn around yet? I need to find my shirt," Luke smiled trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, I'm dressed that's fine... Wait, so you were watching me sleep?" Avery laughed.

"Maybe," Luke winked.

"You weirdo," Avery laughed.

"You like it," Luke grinned as he walked toward Avery.

"Maybe," Avery teased.

"Thank you," Luke said standing right in front of Avery.

"For what?" Avery asked looking up at Luke.
"For making my last night amazing. I really needed it. It was the perfect escape from my crazy life," Luke said kissing Avery on her forehead.

"Will I see you again?" Avery said not ready to say goodbye.

"Next time I'm in California, I will walk down to this diner and I will annoy you as much as I can before I have to leave again," Luke said pulling Avery in for a hug.

"That would be nice," Avery said resting her head on his chest. "Maybe you can sing for me again?"

"How about I just give you tickets to my next show in California," Luke laughed.

"Ask me how my first date was," Avery said unable to fight her smile.

"How was it?" Luke said pulling away from the hug to look down at Avery.

"It was nice," Avery blushed.

"I'm glad," Luke said kissing Avery on the cheek.

"I do have one question though..."

"What's up?"

"Was I okay?" Avery asked, her insecurity taking over.

"Avery, you were amazing. Last night was amazing, don't worry about it." Luke said running his hands through Avery's messy hair. "Can I admit something?" Luke said biting his lower lip.

"Yeah, what's up?" Avery said raising her eyebrows.

"I really like you," Luke admitted. "I know I have only known you for a day but I have fallen for you Avery. And it really hurts knowing I have to say goodbye already," Luke said resting his chin on her head.
