|A gift|

I was at the break room making some coffee for myself cuz I need to refill myself after doing paperwork in my office.

When the coffee maker began to make some coffee, I felt someone watching me or stalking me or something but I just shrugged it off.

After some moments later, I felt someone hold my shoulder making jumped and stand in and frightening post and a nervous, embarrassing way.

I looked up to see Wally with a grin on his face."Oh, sir it's only you."I said as I fixed my composure."Did I scare ya?"He said while keeping the grin on his face, I looked around and looked at Wally."Nah, I already know that you were there the whole time."I said but it's seems like he didn't believe my words.

"Okay then, meet me in my office and fill this cup for me."He said, as he turned around and threw me his mug that almost drop on the floor but I caught in time before it break into pieces and he just left.

"What a grown man you are."I said, I was getting annoy about this."You were already here and didn't make yourself a cup of coffee that I still need to do."I said as the coffee maker was done.

After I was done making his damn coffee, I went to his office with two coffee's in my hands for one each, before I could open the door, the door opened revealing Wally."Ah assistant, I see you're here, come in."He said, as he let me in and closed the door.

"I know you're curious of why you are here."He said, as he took his coffee in my hand, please don't tell I'm in trouble especially this early in the morning."Don't worry you're not in trouble or anything, you are here because I want to give you a gift."He said as I blink at him few times."A gift?"I repeated."Yes a gift, don't worry you're gonna love it."He said as he took out a box of pocky.

I watched him opened it and pulled a.. pocky?"Uh.. sir I appreciate this gift you are talking about but.. I don't think I would accep-"I stopped when he put a pocky in my mouth to shut me out.

"Don't eat it yet."He said, as he kneeled down to my level making eye contact."We're are going to play a game."He said with a grin."You need to hold the other end while I bit the other end."He said, as my face went red to this and he noticed it.

"Heh, I can read your face 'why' but don't worry while we're doing this, your going to get your gift."He said, as he bit the other end, I closed my eyes as I bit it down on the Pocky and bit down on it as Wally pushed it deeper into my mouth, as I did, oh god please this isn't going to happen right? Just please no- not now I'm not ready for this.

Then suddenly the door opened making us looked at the door and saw Sally was looking at a paper while the pocky was still on our mouth."Hey Wally did you see my lab coa-"Sally stopped when she saw us."Oh my god- are you two were going to kiss!? Did I interrupt you two to have your first kiss with each other!?"She shouted, as I let go of the pocky in my mouth to speak.

"We're not going to kiss."I said."Then how do you explain the pocky was on your mouths while you bit it on the end while Wally bit at the other end!?"She said, as I sigh in frustration.

"You know what? Why I'm the one your asking? You should ask him? He's the one who made me do this."I said, kinda annoyed."Plus I think I need to go to my office now and work on some paperwork."I said as I looked at his desk.

"And I think this is mine."I said, as I took a stack of papers on his desk and walked past Sally and went to my office, I wasn't having my day huh?

The day went by, after that situation I didn't even go out of my office and was still annoyed with Wally because of that situation but.. eh why would I care about him? He has a wife I mean ex wife and that the one who would focus on, not me, I mean yeah, he should focus on Ms. Joyful because I think they're slowly getting back together and I'm just his personal assistant who works for him.

I left my office because my shift was over and head to my apartment."Maybe he just hired me because he had nothing to play with."I blurted to myself as I walked down in the hallway.

"And why did he divorced with Ms. Joyful?  Did he cheated on her or something? What is this all about their daughter named Ophelia?"I continue to blurted to myself as I reached my apartment.

"Oh well, they're slowly getting back together and I don't care if they are slowly getting back together because I don't really care."I said as I unlocked my apartment door.

"I mean, what was he doing about the pocky stuff with me? Is he messing around with me or I'm his play thing?"I said as I closed my apartment door."I'm did not applied a job here to be his play thing, I'm just here to work that's not hard to ask."I said.

I walked to my room and as I opened the door I saw a letter and a red rose next to it laying around on my bed. I walked to it and picked up the letter and the rose.

I saw it from Wally, oh great, is this a apology letter from earlier? I read the letter and didn't understand he did that when he loves someone else not me.

Dear: assistant

'I apologize from what happened earlier I didn't mean to make you flustered like that, please accept this red rose for my apology and take care of yourself.'

From: Wally

He didn't even write 'boss' at the end, how strange, him? Giving his personal assistant a red rose for his apology from earlier? You must be joking right now. But still I'm still annoy with him and I don't think I would be talking to him.
