Happy New Year readers, I know I didn't have a gift for y'all last Christmas and I thought to make a New Year Bonus, and I also appreciate that you guys are reading this book even though it's already confusing right now, and I'll be using some words that I used in my country so yeah didn't have any ideas so yeah-

Anyway, this is not a part of the story this is just a New Year Bonus since I didn't give y'all  a Christmas gift last Christmas so hope y'all like the chapter.

I was working in my office, typing on my computer, I couldn't believe that this year is going to end soon, as the clock hit midnight, it's a new year again for me.

But I still haven't still finish my work but Wally announced that if we finished our work we can celebrate New Year.

Until I heard a knocked on my door and I stopped typing on my computer and looked at the door. I said "come in" and the door opened and revealed it was Wally."Oh, hello sir, do you need anything?"I said, as he walked to my desk.

"Well yes, actually.."He said."What do you need sir?"I said, with a smile."Well umm.. do you want to go with me to the park later?"He said."What's the occasion? Is there a celebration for New Year later?"I said.

"Well no, I mean maybe."He said."So you want to go with me.. if you're available."He said."Well I guess I can go I guess."I said."Well okay, I see you later assistant."He said, as he left my office.

I was curious about Wally about hanging out with him in the park, it's just kind weird for my boss to asked to hang out with him so often but I just knew that he loves hang out with his friends.

The day went by as usual, doing some paperworks and stuff. Me and Wally went to the park, it was already 10:24pm and it's kinda weird for me because we usually go to the park at 3 or 4 in the afternoon but I noticed something, Wally was holding a basket."Why are you bringing a basket?"I said.

"Well for just occasion"He said."Aw, did you bring snacks?"I said, as a tint of red appeared on his face."I mean.. yeah I had if we get hungry."He said.

We reached a spot that was surrounding of flowers where we can watch the sky. I noticed him pulled out a blanket from the basket and starts to wave it and placed it on the grass.

"I didn't know we were going to sleep here, I should have bring my own sleeping bag."I joked, as Wally placed the basket above the blanket.

"So what are we exactly doing in this time? We usually go here if it was 3 or 4 in the afternoon if we have free time to go here."I said."Even though you usually go to my office and like, hey assistant do you want to hang out with me and blah blah blah."I added, as Wally sat on the blanket, as I sat besides him and looked up at the sky and watched the stars.

"I didn't knew the stars are so beautiful in this point of view."I said."Not as beautiful as you."He said, as I blushed and I punched his arm playfully."Come on, stop flirting around."I said, as I looked at him and he was already looking at me, making a eye contact.

"Well it's true you know."He said."Why? did I ever called you giant because of your height?"I teased, as I let out a laugh."Haha, very funny Y/n."He said."You're not calling me assistant anymore Walden?"I said.

"You are just so annoying sometimes and stopped calling me by my birth name."He said."Well goes for you to the same and no, I think the name Walden suits you more."I said."Let's change the topic, well do you still have the red rose I gave you?"He said."Well yes, it's on my desk, I put it in a flower vase that was just laying around my office."I said.

"Glad to know you didn't threw it a way."He said, as I raised a brow at him."Why would I throw it a way since red roses are my favorite flower, and I would just throw it a way like that? Oh, no."I said.

"Well I thought you didn't like it and I thought you threw it a way."He said."Well I didn't."I said."So your hungry or something?"He said."Just a little."I said.

I saw Wally get two apples from the basket and gave me one apple."So you like apples huh?"I said."Well yeah, I do."He said.

"I thought you always eat and drink is coffee."I teased."Do you think whole my life that I just eat and drink is coffee?"He said."Well kinda obvious that everyday you would go to my office to refill your mug."I said.

"Well I still remember you were in a rushed because you were late and tripped and fell to your face while in front of me."He said, as he burst of laughing at me, while my face went red from embarrassment.

"And you said if I wanted coffee."He said."Come on, don't bring that up, you know that I was super late that day before I slept to much."I said."Well that's kinda funny."He said.

"Well I don't want to talk about it anymore."I said, as I looked up at the sky."Aw, my little assistant is grumpy now?"He teased."What- I am not grumpy!"I said.

"Come on, admit it."He said."I'm not grumpy."I said, as I crossed my arms."Come on, lo siento, mi amor."He said, as I look at him with a raised brow.

"You speak Spanish?"I said."Well yes, I do, mi amor."He said."Well I have no clue about that words that came out of your mouth."I said."Well I assume that you don't understand Spanish?"He said.

"Well yes, I don't clearly understand of what you just said even the mi amor you said."I said."Well I guess you can understand English I suppose."He said.

"Well no, I understand two words from a different language."I said."Well what language is that?"He said, as he raised a brow at me.

"Well a friend teach me some few words of the language she spoke in her country."I said.(Well you know that I'm the one who wrote this story and I know some of you know my language that I speak in my country so no need to asked who the person who taught them.)

"And the language is Tagalog."I said."Tagalog? What words did you learned?"He said."Well I have a favorite one."I said."I hope you won't understand."I said.

"You know I don't understand Tagalog you know."He said."If that's the case, Mahal kita."I said, as Wally raised a brow at me."Excuse me, what?"He said.

"Mahal kita."I said."M-mahal k-kita?"He repeated stammering to his words."Aw, Wally how sweet of you."I said."I don't even know what your talking about, what's M-mahal k-kita?"He said.

"Well I don't want to tell you, because I might see your face all red."I said, as I chuckled."Well I don't care what's the meaning of it."He said.

I checked my phone and it was already 11:54pm, only 6 more minutes before the year ends.

"So did you had fun this year?"I said."Well kinda."He said."What do you mean kinda?"I said."Well you know always busy at work."He said."Ah, I see."I said.

We watched the stars in the sky, while eating our apple that we had in our hands. Until we saw fireworks in the sky, it was already 12:00, I smiled at the fireworks and realized that Wally wanted to watch them with me.

I rested my head on Wally's shoulder and closed my eyes while smiling, while Wally look at me confused."Uh.. what are you doing?"He asked."Enjoying this moment with you."I said, as I opened my eyes and watch the fireworks, Wally smiled and rested his head on top of mine, as we watch the fireworks together.

"Happy New Year Sir."I said."Happy New Year Assistant."He said, as we watch the fireworks.
