|Hanging out with my boss|

I was working in my office well don't need to say what am I doing because as usual and always I'm doing some paperwork I mean that's what I do everyday.

I heard a knocked on my door."Come in."I said, as the door slowly open and I saw Wally."Oh sir, what's brings you here?"I said."Well I just wanted to ask if you have plans later."He said, as I raised a brow."Well I don't have any plans later, why do you asked?"I said.

"Well I was wondering if you like to hang out with me later?"He said."Uhh.. sure?"I respond."Great, meet you at 3:00?"He said."Okay.."I said, as he left my office."Geez- I don't had planning to hang out with him-"I blurted to myself.

Hours flew by, I wore a black turtle neck, grey pants and black shoes, similar to what I wear every day but except for the lab coat, I mean there's nothing important to wear formal today right? I'm just going to hang out with my boss if I'm correct I guess besides I don't want to wear formal if we're just going to a place or something of not important.

I walked outside of the factory and head to the parking lot to see Wally standing next to his car and was already waiting for me, he was wearing a black turtle neck and grey pants and black shoes and he's wearing his lab coat. I just wanted to ask him of why is he wearing same as mine but except for the lab coat. Oh well gotta play along.

"Good afternoon sir."I greeted him."Oh hello assistant."He said."Ready to go?"He said, as he open the door for me, I nodded in respond and step inside the car, as he closed the door, he went to the drivers seat and closed the door.

"So where are we going?"I asked."Somewhere."He said."Where to?"I said, as I raised a brow at him."Just somewhere."He said, as he started the car.

He drove few minutes after we stopped at a park? He stopped the car and opened the door and stepped outside and closed the door, and he went to the other side and opened the door for me.

"What a gentleman you are today."I joked, as I stepped out of the car, Wally rolled his eyes and closed the door of the car when I got out."So where are we heading?"I asked."You're already seeing it."He said."Well we're just going a park if I'm correct."I said, but Wally didn't answer.

After a moment, we started walking around the park but it was silence between us before Wally break the silence."So.. you and Sally are friends?"He said, making a conversation."Yeah I mean were best friends."I respond."Ah, I see."He said.

"What about you and Ms. Joyful?"I asked, feeling a regret about asking that."Bad terms to each other right now."He respond."I heard that you two are.. divorced?"I said."Yes.. we are."He said."So you got divorced because she said you two got divorced because of the Ophelia name I guess? I assume that person died?"I said, but he didn't answer.

"I'm sorry if I have to question you that because I just heard while you two were arguin-""You don't need to apologize."I got cut off by him."May I ask why you two got divorced if that's okay with you but I understand if you don't want to."I said.

"Well.. I was the one who was responsible to look over my daughter."He said."Oh.. I see you two have a daughter named Ophelia?"I said."Yes, but we just adopted her."He said."So, what happened to her?"I said, but Wally didn't respond to my question.

Am I asking to much about his past? Maybe I am."I'm sorry that I asked you about your past.."I said, as we continue to walk around, after some minutes, we sat down on a bench that was near by a pond, I sat next to Wally as we watch the sunset that was slowly fading a way.

"Sir.."I started, as I left my eyes on the sunset to Wally."You don't have to call me 'sir' every time, you can just call me 'Wally' but in private."He said."Um.. okay Wally, have you already moved on after what happened to your daughter?"I said, I felt some guilt showering over me after I've said that, I just looked away and watching the sunset again.

"I'm sorry if I'd asked you tha-"I stopped, when I looked at him, I saw tears rolling down his cheeks."O-oh my god..! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to make you cry! But it was still my fault though for asking those silly question-"I stopped, when he raised a hand for silence.

"It's okay, no need to explain."He respond, as I sat there quietly."It's difficult to moved on and make a new happiness if you're so focus on your work and can't find the perfect time to make a new one."He said, while tears continue to roll down on his cheeks.

I looked at the sunset again and saw it was gone and was replaced by the moon that was starting to rise up. I looked at Wally and the moon again and look at Wally again and I smiled softly.

"Then.."I started, as I stood up and stand in front of Wally."Why don't you start a new one right now?"I said, as I let out a hand to Wally who suddenly looked at me confused and looked at my hand and looked at me again, I looked at him, as his eyes met with mine.

I smiled and gesturing him to take my hand, after a while, he broke the eye contact and looked a way, my smile slowly faded a way and lower my head feeling ashamed and guilt, as I thought I did something wrong to make him feel like that.

As I was going to put down my hand, he put his hand on top of mine, I could feel his soft and warm touch, I looked up at him and saw he was smiling at me and stood up, I could feel my heart beating so fast, I smiled at him."Make a new one, step by step."I said, as I smiled softly at him.

Merry Christmas readers! I know I haven't publish any chapters since last week but I am back and have a lot of chapters that I wrote while I was offline like I wrote 8 chapters including this chapter so don't worry I'll publish them later if I have the time cuz I don't want to publish them all at the same time and also I appreciate your comments on my other chapters also when I wrote about Wally smacking his head on his desk when their lovely assistant did that flying kiss before they left his office and I know it's kinda cringe? Anyway, I just wanted to update y'all since I last published the other chapter from Dec. 19 cuz that was the day of my christmas party and it was kinda boring so I just wrote the chapter and published it, so yeah, anyway, merry christmas readers!
