Chapter 0: The United Empire of Man

It is the year 16,920. Humanity is a small power on the galactic scale, located on the Orion Arm of the Milkyway galaxy. A technological power house of the sector and with 100,000 worlds under its command, it is the dominant regional power that seeks to ascend as a Galactic power by colonizing more worlds, waging campaigns against the Aliens seek out more technological pursuit. Despite humanity being a small Empire, there are possibly a hundreds of billions of humans outside of the Orion Arm and recent trends that numbers is only increasing for humans

The United Empire of Man, the Empire humanity built upon on the foundations of Earth. Its total control of the Solar System, now known as the Terran Star System, controls everything inside of it from the Sun with a Dyson Swarm, Mercury as a mining world, Venus as a Ring World and Sky Cities, Earth as its Capital, Mars as its second home and many from Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto

Interstellar civilizations had acknowledge of humanity's ascension to power on the Orion Arm with a massive influence on the surrounding super-clusters of stars. The humans fought against the Alien Civilization and humanity had a "Xeno Scare" where the UEM had spent an entire millenia devoting massive amounts of rescources to R&D

The Alien civilizations viewed humanity as nothing more than a pest that has overreached its grasp and were willing to carve up the United Empire of Man but as they make campaigns against the humans, they were able to steal away some worlds but at a massive cost. With the humans and their innovative technologies that even make the older and advanced aliens have a run for their money, time and time again humanity was shown as not a pushover, holding on to their territories with ferocity and willingness to push back the alien threat even when outnumbered and surrounded by powerful alien empires

In a sense, the alien civilization came to respect humanity as a mighty power on the Orion Arm region as words begin to spread about humans on the human calendar of the year 15,403 when a war broke out with humans and a powerful alien empire, humanity was able to gain worlds against them with their increasing technological power, tenacity and strategic minds. Decades more of warfare and humanity loses some worlds or gains more through skirmishes and space battles against aliens

Of the 7 Alien Civilization, 3 of them bordered humanity and were eager to either trade or steal worlds from them. Human diplomacy with these Alien Civilization varied from hostile to cordial

The United Empire of Man was ruled by a Queen and its government and her authority spreaded through the House of Commons and the House of Lords, situated at Earth, The Terran System to rule over the hundred thousand worlds on the Empire as well as small and minor intelligent Alien Commonwealth that humanity works with closely. Although the Alien Commonwealth is small ranging from just a a few star systems to atleast 200 worlds, depending on the protected alien species that allied with humanity

The Outer Worlds on the frontier are usually where Human Nobility are on as a spearhead for human expansion alongside with the army and navy while the established planets are normally governed by Planetary Governor that oversees its star systems or more while Vice-Roys oversees newly conquered territory from colonization or war. Nobilities are expected to learn and train to either serve civil society or the military in the matters where needed to increase their family line's prestige and power in the Empire

The life expectancy of a average human ranges to 92 years old. With extremely well maintained food stocks, free healthcare and a literal advanced technology for life extension and a addition to low crime rate and eradication of poverty, people have a generally greater odds in life never before seen in human history. Corruption on the government is usually dealt with assasinations of incompetent and selfish politicians while efficienct and hardworkers are rewarded as long as it benefitted the planet, the people and the central government. Meaning that people are always made sure are in good hands, happy and comfortable for increasing stability and making sure ineffective people are not on position of power
