Chapter 8

Jawbreaker and ShroomBoom had successfully navigated through the treacherous chambers of the hidden realm of the Skylands. They were filled with both excitement and nervousness as they approached the exit, knowing that the battles ahead would test their limits and define their legacy.
As they stepped through the portal, the scenery around them suddenly transformed. They found themselves standing in a vast, majestic courtyard adorned with sparkling Traptanium statues. The magic in the air was palpable, swirling and dancing with vibrant colours. This was the sacred place where the powerful Magic Traptanium Trap was being held.
Before they could fully take in their surroundings, a menacing voice echoed through the courtyard, freezing them in their tracks. "Well, well, if it isn't the robot and his puny mushroom friend," sneered the familiar voice of Chompy Mage. Emerging from the shadows, the demented villain wore a wicked smile on his face, ready to take on the heroes once again.
Jawbreaker's metallic fists clenched tightly, determination burning in his eyes. He had faced Chompy Mage before and knew the evil sorcerer's tricks. He was ready for whatever awaited him. ShroomBoom, on the other hand, trembled with fear but knew he had to stay strong for his friend. With a wave of his hand, Chompy Mage conjured a Tech Traptanium Trap from thin air. The trap glowed with an eerie gold hue, crackling with newfound power. "Prepare to be trampled, fools!" he cackled, as he flung the trap towards Jawbreaker and ShroomBoom.
Caught off guard, Jawbreaker tried to dodge, but the trap clamped around his metallic arm, sapping away his strength. ShroomBoom acted quickly, firing his explosive mushrooms at Chompy Mage. But the villain effortlessly deflected them with his newly acquired powers, sending ShroomBoom sprawling to the ground. With a triumphant laugh, Chompy Mage snatched the Magic Traptanium Trap and disappeared in a puff of smoke. Jawbreaker and ShroomBoom exchanged worried glances, knowing that they had to retrieve the stolen trap before Chompy Mage unleashed its unimaginable power upon Skylands. Without wasting a moment, they sped after him, their determination fuelling their every step. The duo ventured deeper into the Skylands, chasing after the villainous mage. Along their perilous journey, they encountered fierce adversaries, cunning traps, and mind-bending puzzles. Jawbreaker's brute strength and ShroomBoom's explosive mushrooms became their greatest assets as they battled their way through each obstacle. The duo's friendship grew stronger with every victory, their trust in each other becoming unbreakable. After what felt like an eternity, they finally reached the chamber holding the coveted Air Traptanium Trap. They knew this was their last chance to stop Chompy Mage and reclaim the stolen Magic Traptanium Trap before he could unleash its devastating power. As they cautiously entered the chamber, a gust of wind whisked through the air, revealing Chompy Mage perched atop a towering platform. With a wicked grin, he held the Magic Traptanium Trap high above, taunting Jawbreaker and ShroomBoom.
"Your journey ends here, fools!" Chompy Mage sneered, his voice filled with malice. "Say goodbye to your precious Skylands!" Undeterred by Chompy Mage's threats, Jawbreaker and ShroomBoom fought with all their might. The room echoed with explosions and the clash of metal, as they tirelessly attacked their adversary, hoping to find an opening to seize the Magic Traptanium Trap. But despite their best efforts, Chompy Mage proved to be a formidable opponent. He parried their attacks effortlessly, using the stolen Magic Traptanium Trap to unleash waves of destructive magic upon them. Their strength waned, and fatigue threatened to overtake them. "Hmm. I deal with you to later. Happy falling!" the wicked mage said and just like that he flung them off the edge of the air temple. Jawbreaker and Shroomboom landed on a floating island feeling defeated and wounded. But at least they still had the life traptanium trap safely in their possession. Then they saw the chompy mage fly away using the air traptanium trap saying that he needed the water trap next. with a gleam of determination in their eyes they decided to get the fire trap rather than get the water as they know that chompy mage would just beat them again.
