The persistent blare of my alarm rudely pulled me into consciousness, and as I struggled to open my eyes, a wave of unusual exhaustion washed over me. Every muscle in my body protested as I groggily reached to silence the alarm, contemplating why I felt this weak and sore.

After managing to turn off the intrusive noise, I found myself rolling around in bed, the events of the previous night slowly resurfacing in my groggy mind. "I shouldn't have drunk yesterday... But why am I feeling this weak and sore...?" I murmured, my voice barely audible in the solitude of my room.

Summoning what little energy remained, I finally decided to get out of bed. The journey to the bathroom felt like navigating through a foggy haze of fatigue. Turning on the tap to brush my teeth, I glanced at myself in the mirror.

"Wait...?" I mumbled, catching sight of something on my neck.

"What is it?... Don't tell me... it's... a-," I stopped mid-sentence, my hand instinctively covering my mouth.

"-Hickey..." I mumbled, fingers gingerly tracing the unexpected markings on my neck. As my eyes widened, I became aware of a cluster of love bites in that sensitive area.

"How did this happen yesterday?" I questioned myself, scrutinizing my neck for any more surprises. Feeling a sense of trepidation, I decided to check the rest of my body. Peeling off my shirt, I was met with a canvas of hickeys in various shapes and sizes.

"W-what!?" I exclaimed, discovering the extensive trail of love bites.

"N-no... it can't have happened..." I sighed, grappling with disbelief as I tried to comprehend the implications of the markings.

"I can't have done that..." I continued to murmur, running my hands through my hair, attempting to shake off the disorienting revelations.

I woke up with a satisfied smirk on my face, a surge of exhilaration coursing through my body. Last night's escapade with Y/n, Hwang Y/n, felt like a revival, breathing life into my senses.

Indulging in my desires throughout the day, I knew it was wrong, but the blissful feeling drowned out any pangs of guilt. With Y/n in my arms, I felt complete.

After finishing my morning routine, a mischievous idea crossed my mind. "Should I check on Y/n? They had a wild ride yesterday! Let's see if they're alive or not!" I chuckled as I strolled towards Y/n's room.

Standing in front of the door, I knocked, half-expecting some kind of response, but none came.

"Are they dead or something?" I mumbled, smirking at the absurd thought.

"I was quite rough with them in bed yesterday," I chuckled, fixing my hair before deciding to enter the room.

To my disappointment, Y/n was nowhere to be found.

"So, did they leave?" I pondered, a giggle escaping my lips.

"No 'good morning,' no morning kiss, not another session in the morning..." I halted my giggling, a sly smirk forming as I decided to take a tour of Y/n's room.

"I miss the intoxicating scent of their body! It's so addictive," I mumbled, jumping onto Y/n's bed and inhaling deeply.

"Ah, it's so addictive!" I exclaimed, sighing contentedly.

"I love it when they touch my body with their sexy hands!" I whispered, another sigh escaping my lips.

"Hwang Y/n, you're driving me crazy!" I declared, reveling in the lingering sensations of the night before.

"Ah... yeah, I am fine..." I replied to my brother over the phone, my steps echoing in the empty elevator.

"You sure? Your voice doesn't sound like that," Hyunjin's concern cut through the quiet space, prompting a sigh from me.

"It's just... I'm tired," I said, my words carrying the weight of the truth mingled with evasion.

"How about you?" I asked, entering the familiar floor through the elevator doors.

"I'm good. Just missing my sibling!" Hyunjin's voice held warmth, but my thoughts were elsewhere, already consumed by the impending encounter of last night.

What could have actually happened?

"Uh... I miss you too," I responded, heading towards my apartment.

As I approached the door, it stood firmly locked, a telltale sign that Minji wasn't home. Retrieving the spare key she had given me, I unlocked the door and stepped into the quiet embrace of the apartment.

The entire space felt cold, accentuating the lingering thoughts of the night before. Switching on the lights, I let out a contemplative sigh.

"I still can't believe something happened yesterday..." I murmured, making my way into the kitchen to pour a glass of water.

While taking a sip, I pondered the unease settling in. "How can I face Minji? Does she remember what happened yesterday?" The unanswered questions hung in the air as I walked back into the dimly lit living room.

There, on the couch, sat Kim Minji, her gaze cold and piercing. The sight caught me off guard.

"You... came home?" I stammered nervously, meeting her intense stare.

"Y/n, can we talk?" she spoke with a calm firmness, the tension thickening the air and leaving me bracing for the conversation that awaited.
