The first round was about to start, Killua was snacking on some chocolate as he waited. The festivities were ending, and all of his classmates, save for the two about to face off, made their way to the stands. Mina took her seat right next to him, now dressed in a normal uniform. She gave him the top to his uniform back. "Here, thanks, but whats with the bodysuit?" She asked curiously. Killua shrugged. "It's a fashion statement." He said, mostly joking. I don't think it's a good idea to tell her the real reason...
Present mic announced both sides of the combat as both Shoji and Todoroki took their stances. Killua's eyebrows raised as flames burst up from the corners. Overkill much? He thought, leaning backwards with his hands behind his head. "I feel bad for Shoji." Mina said. "It's really not a fair f-" Killua suddenly got tense, and he quickly yanked Mina backwards as whole damn iceberg shot right up the side of the stadium, narrowly missing Mina. Mina yelped and clung to him as a reflex. "Woah!" Killua sighed. "Damn, Todoroki really didn't go easy." He said, slashing at the ice with his claws to clear Mina's seat again.
Mina sat back down in her seat, shivering, "Y-Yeah, he seems super worked up too. It's really cold." Killua wasn't really bothered. It was till cold, but he could deal with it. "No shit." he muttered, frowning. The look on Todoroki's face... Probably ran into his dad, can't think of another reason. Shoji was trapped in the midst of the ice, struggling but unable to break free. "Shoji, tell the truth. Can you move?" Midnight asked, covered in ice and shivering. Shoji grunted, and muttered something too quiet for the people in the stands to hear. "Shoji has been immobilized, Todoroki wins!" Midnight shouted, cracking her whip.
There was a resounding silence for a few moments, before the crowd started shouting. 'nice try'. Which probably was meant to make Shoji feel better, but in reality it most likely made him feel worse. Killua chuckled. "I can still beat him." He said. Mina glanced at him with concern. "Really? Even if he pulls that move?" Killua scoffed. "Oh please, it's just some ice." Killua continued keeping up small talk to pass the time. As he was talking, he noticed Midoriya mumbling writing in some notebook. Killua being the curious cat he was decided to peek over his shoulder, the kid always had his nose stuck in that notebook.
His eyes widened as he realized that he was writing about him. Midoriya was too focused on what he was doing to realize the subject he was writing of had been watching. There were stats, sketches, honestly Killua was somewhat impressed by how much he'd picked up on. Most of the numbers are wrong, but that's probably because I've never showed my true strength yet. Killua chuckled softly when he saw a small note Midoriya was currently writing on the bottom of the page, questioning whether or not Killua's 'catlike behavior' was related to his quirk. "it's not, actually." He said, amused.
Midoriya yelped and snapped out of his trance, nearly dropping his notebook. "What- oh- ok. Wait why were you looking over my shoulder?" His face reddened in embarrassment as he stared at Killua. Killua shrugged. "Curiosity killed the cat, as they say." He replied jokingly, taking a bite of a chocolate bar he'd snuck in. Now this next fight might be interesting. He thought. Midoriya and Kaminari...

Gon sulked as he scrubbed the floor in the large dog kennel he was in, he'd completely forgotten that he'd had work today. Man, I won't see any of Killua's fights in real time. In order to afford his apartment, he needed to work a job. The quickest one he'd found was at an animal shelter. Gon enjoyed working with animals, he really did. But he wished he could be doing something else right now. "Gon, when you're finished with that go clean the back." His manager ordered, causing Gon to let out a groan. "Yes ma'am." He muttered, continuing to scrub the floor. This really sucks, but I need the money.
Gon would've just set up camp in the forest, but there wasn't a forest nearby the school. There weren't any places to fish, or gather fruit, or hunt. It was all buildings and such. The only grass or trees were in parks or protected areas where hunting and climbing trees weren't allowed. As cool as being a hero is, I'd rather be back home where there's less rules. I hope Killua's enjoying himself...
