FIRST DATE

Amidst the bustling streets of Bonifacio Global City, Vice and Karylle embarked on their first official date as a couple. The night air was filled with a subtle warmth, and the city lights illuminated their path as they strolled hand in hand while still reminiscing their talk that afternoon.

Location: Starbucks Cental Square Mall, BGC.

Karylle was staring at Vice habang papalapit ito na may dala dalang drinks. Vice just winked at her ng mapansin nitong kanina pa sya tinititigan ng dalaga which made Karylle chuckled.

"Parang mauuna pa ata akong matunaw kesa sa frappe na hawak ko," biro ni Vice habang paupo ito at inabot ang frappe sa huli. "Crush na crush mo talaga ako."

"Excuse me?"

"Sige, daan kana" biro ni vice kaya naman nahampas sya ng dalaga. "eto naman patola agad."

Napailing na lamang ang dalaga and takes a sip from the frappe.

They spend the whole hour chitchatting about stuffs in life, their likes and dislikes, their family, and lastly how greatful they were.

It was around 3pm when Karylle interrupted Vice's talk. She was reluctant at first and gave the guy a shy smile. Vice was confused so he was a bit worried na baka nagiging uncomfortable na ang dalaga sa sobrang daldal nya.

"Sorry, am I too noisy and madaldal?"

"No, actually I do love kapag nagkkwento ka," sagot ng dalaga and reached out for his hands.

Nagulat naman ang binata sa galaw na iyon at medyo kinabahan dahil nagiba rin ang facial reaction ng dalaga. Natahimik na lamang si Vice at hinintay ang sasabihin nito.

"Vice, stop courting me. Tama na."

Tila bumagsak naman agad ang balikat ng binata at nagaalalang tumingin sa dalaga.

"Why? Is there something wrong? May ginawa ba akong mali? Did I offend or made u uncomfortable? Tell me, please. I don't wanna lose you." Sunod sunod na tanong nito.

Karylle saw how sincere Vice is, kaya hindi rin maiwasan nitong umiwas ng tingin. She saw how Vice do care for her, how he treats her and how he values her.

"Wala" she only answered.

"How come na wala? So bakit mo nga po ako patitigilin, ayaw mo na ba sa'kin?" Nalulungkot na tanong ng binata.

"Of course not" she chuckled.

"They why po? Bakit mo'ko patitigilin?"

"Stop courting me kasi..."

"Kasi what?" Tila paluha nang sagot ng binata dahil sa pagaantay nito.

"Kasi..." Karylle look at vice first before telling it. She saw his face, almost crying, very worried habang tahimik na inaantay ang sasabihin nya.

"Kasi, I love you."

Tila natulala naman bigla ang binata sa sinabi ni Karylle at hindi makapagsalita kaya nama inulit ito ng dalaga.

"Tumigil kana sa panliligaw, kasi I love you,"

"Ha?" Tanging sagot lang ng binata at tila pinaprocess pa yung sinabi ni Karylle.

"Bingi!" Natatawang sagot ng dalaga. "Sabi ko, I love you."

Yung kaninang naluluhang itsura ni Vice ay napalitan ng tears of joy. Dahil sa ilang buwan nitong panliligaw sa kanya ay sinagot na rin ito ng dalaga. Ito rin kasi ang unang beses na marinig ng binata na mahal sya ng dalaga.

Sa ilang buwan na panliligaw kasi nito ay tanging "thank you" lamang ang sinasabi nito sa binata bilang pangaasar nito. Kaya naman sobrang saya nito ng marinig na nya ang mga katagang iyon sa dalaga.

"Huy, love. Ok ka lang?"

"L-Love???" takang sagot nito ng mabalik sa wisyo.

"Yes, love"

"Crush na crush mo talaga ako, iilang minuto mo palang akong sinagot may endearment na tayo," biro ng binata kaya naman nahampas sya ng dalaga.

"Ikaw kaya unang tumawag ng love sa'kin noon tapos sabi mo yun yung endearment natin," depensa ng huli. "Oh ano, baka kamo ikaw yung crush na crush ako,"

Napailing na lamang ang binata at tumawa dahil sa kacute-an ng kanyang nobya. He then grab Karylle's face and gave her a quick smack kiss which caught the latter of guarded.

"I love you" he said after and kiss his girl's forehead.

And then again, they spend their afternoon full of love while getting along at the coffee shop.

They decided to start their evening at a cozy cafe tucked away in one of the quieter corners of BGC. Walang kasawaang cafe para sa kanila kaya even after they stayed at Starbucks, they decided to change their location para maiba naman. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as they chatted about their day, their dreams, and the exciting journey that lay ahead for them as a couple. Vice couldn't help but admire Karylle's eyes that sparkled with a combination of enthusiasm and affection.

After a delightful conversation and a shared dessert, they decided to explore the vibrant High Street. As they walked, Vice wrapped his arm around Karylle's waist, creating an intimate connection between them.
