GABRIELLA ALLEN WAS THE SUN. The sun represented her through her golden waves, shining emerald eyes and a smile that left everyone weak in the knees. The beams of warmth shined through her and everything she was, with her radiance, spirit, and a heart purest than most.
She was the center point of her family with her brothers resolving around her, just as the planets did with the sun. But what else could you expect? She was born the only girl in a big in her family.
Of course the world resolved around her,
according to her brothers, Gabriella was too pure and too good hearted for her own good. So genuine that it could cloud her judgement, because she forced herself to see the good in each and every individual. These were values she'd been gifted but also cursed with from her grandmother, passed on to her mother who had passed them to her. Her brothers were lucky in that way, they didn't share her values in those measures. Sure, they were all big softies when it came down to it. But they'd all inherited the way their father, Daniel looked upon in the world.
Gabriella Allen had everything a girl could ever wish for, a loving family, more money that she could spend, the most amazing friends, and not to mention she lived in Outer banks.
paradise on earth.
As her best friend John B Routledge claimed; Outer banks was the kind of place where you either had two jobs or two houses,
one island two tribes.
It was probably the only resononble words that had ever come out of his month. Because it was completely true, the two tribes on the island were called the pogues and the kooks. Sworn enemies, from day one. Reason being because the kooks practically threw money down the drain, while most of the pogues never knew when their next full meal would be.
Gabriella Allen had a foot in both worlds, she was born a kook. And some would always look upon her in that way: because of her family name, looks, house, clothes made the defenition of a stereotypical kook.
Her parents owned the most luxurious resort on the entire island not to mention the granddaughter of one of the most respected men in the obx, judge Holden. Gabriella's life screamed to belong in the bubble wrap, but it didn't. Because the golden haired girl wasn't your stereotypical kook, she wasn't arrogant and threw money around her like she didn't know people in this world were starving to death, like her cousin Topper or her aunt Cynthia did. No, Gabriella Allen was the opposite of what people wanted her to be. In her eyes, and most importantly in her her friends eyes.
she was born a pogue.
And what did pogue life mean? They could do whatever they want whenever they want.
Never a boring day.
With her blue surfboard tightly succored under her arm, Gabriella Allen wandered up the stone stairs that led from the beach to the Luxurious resort that her family owned. The summer sun shined down on her, as her golden colored hair swayed from side to side. Due to being in the water, her beachy waves had another set of volume, it smelled of the ocean that she'd just come from, that perfectly mixed with her floral scented shampoo of jasmine and rose.
