On the next morning Selin woke up at around nine o'clock. She got up, took a refreshing shower, made herself some breakfast and ate it.

After breakfast, she decided to go out for some walk. She decided to go to one place that was dear to her. She went to the place where she and Demir often visited together, when they wanted to be all alone, while they were in a relationship at high school. It was an old tree that was located in something like a small forest that was a perfect place for romantics who wanted to escape the crowd whenever they needed to. There was something like a small lake nearby which made the place look even more beautiful.

For the past five years Selin had happened to visit it about four to five times, whenever she needed to remain all by herself, even when she was in a relationship with Kerem.

When Selin went there, she again smiled at the thought of the memories that she and Demir had made under that tree. She then sat down onto the grass under the tree and looked up at the blue sky.

Somewhere around twenty minutes later, someone approached her with small and quiet steps. Selin sensed this and turned her head around. She smiled with a slight smile at the sight of Demir who was standing behind her. He smiled back at her and, going closer to her, said "I knew I could find you here..."

He then sat down onto the grass, next to her.

"I sometimes happen to come here, when I need to." Selin replied "Even while you were not here, I came to this tree to think over things..."

"You know..." Demir replied back "I, too, often thought about this place, while I was away. Mentally I often came back."

"It helped me even when I felt miserable." she added "Especially the last one to two years..."

"Why? What has happened?" he asked "If it is not a problem for you, of course..."

Selin smiled slightly and answered "For the past one year I have been recovering from a relationship where I was not feeling valued enough as a woman and my feelings had been ignored. I decided not to torture myself anymore and ended everything."

"Now I am over it." she added "Last night I officially put an end to my sufferings and started living my life again."

"I am sorry that you had to experience this..." Demir replied

"It is okay. You do not have to feel sorry." Selin replied back

"My life, too, has not been so easy for the past three years." Demir said

"Why?" Selin asked him

Demir then thought a little bit about it and answered her "Never mind... It is not something that I can talk about."

"It is okay, if you do not want to talk about it." she replied "I am not going to persuade you."

He then gently caught her hand, looked her in the eyes and, smiling, said "Thank you for the understanding!"

She responded to him with her smile.

For a moment they remained silent and enjoyed each other's company. They remembered almost all of their special moments from under that tree.

Two hours later Selin and Demir left their place. After Demir walked Selin home, he returned to his home.

*Selin's Point of View*

Entering my house, I went into my bedroom and lay down onto my bed. I thought about everything that happened he previous night, as well as some hours ago. I felt like I was falling in love again. The truth was that my feelings for Demir have never disappeared, ever since high school, even during my relationship with Kerem. I just had hidden those feelings in a separate place of my heart. But, now that Demir has come back to Istanbul, and I saw him again after five years, these feelings of mine seem to show up and become strong again. But, for now, I will not hurry into getting into a relationship. If it happens - it happens.

*Demir's Point of View*

Ever since I met Selin for the first time, after so many years, I have been feeling like I was living again. Maybe, I was not realising this when I was away, but I feel a lot better with her. The only thing that has changed was my transformation into a vampire. I knew that sooner or later I had to tell her. She had to know about it, if I wanted to be with her. I did not know how I was going to tell her, but I knew that I had to do it.

Some hours later, in the evening, I went out, because the vampire in me was going to get hungry soon, and to prevent this, I had to stuck my fangs in at least one person, although I did not like that part of my new life. The thing was that it had to be an alive person, because drinking blood from a dead person was one of the deadliest things for vampires.

After I had some taste of the red liquid, I again went to my special place with Selin, where I sat under the tree and thought about many things. I thought about how to tell Selin the truth about myself and how to do it without scaring her. Sharing such an information about yourself is definitely not an easy task, especially when you are not sure how would the opposite side react. Those were the thoughts that were bothering my mind, as well. I was not sure how would Selin react. And what if she gets scared and would want to run away?! I definitely did not want to lose her.

*Author's Point of View*

One hour later Demir heard quiet steps that were getting closer and closer to him. He knew that at that time of the day there was not anyone else who was as likely to go, so he did not need to check who it was. Though, he again turned his head, in order to look at Selin.

"What are you doing here at this time?" Demir asked Selin

"Actually, what are YOU doing here?" she asked

"I needed to think about some things." he answered "I came here to think calmly."

"What are you thinking about?" Selin asked him

"It is not something serious, do not worry." Demir answered

"If you say so..." she replied

And Demir lied. He knew that he lied. But he had to. He still was not ready to tell Selin the whole truth about himself. He would eventually tell her, but still has not planned it when and how.

Leaving the topic about thinking aside, Selin and Demir were again sitting under the tree, talking about their stuff, such as their past at high school. This time they were sitting even closer to each other. It was the first time, in so long, that they had sat this close to each other, them, their bodies and their heads being much closer than the previous times.

Suddenly, they stopped talking. The only sounds that were heard were their breathing and the rustling of the leaves of the old tree. Pairs of eyes drinking each other, heads shortening the distance like two magnets. Before they realised, they already were so dangerously close, that their lips automatically clung to each other. It felt like the time had stopped.

They let their lips eat each other for a while, when, suddenly, Demir broke the kiss and pulled away, panting.

"No, this cannot be happening..." Demir exclaimed "Not now..."

Selin gave him a question look and asked "What is wrong?"

Demir looked at her and answered "It is just not the right time now."

Selin was a little bit of confused.

"B-But Demir, I-..." she began "I like you."

Demir looked at her eyes. He saw and realised that he made her sad and it was up to him to fix it.

He cupped her face with both of his hands and replied to her "Please, do not get me wrong, I like you, too."

"Please, Selin..." he added "I just need some time to think over it..."

"Peki... If this is what you want..." Selin replied "I will not persuade you."

Demir then made a slight smile, after which he caught Selin's both hands and tenderly kissed her palms, assuring her of his feelings for her.

A little later they left their place and each of them both went at their own homes.
