Whispers of Fate

Somewhere three hours later, around four o'clock after midnight, Demir woke up. Due to him being a vampire, he did not need much sleep, in order to feel good. He could fall asleep and then wake up one or two hours later, and still feel as fresh as he would have, if he slept like a normal human being.

When Demir woke up, he turned to his left side with his whole body and faced the sleeping beauty that was sleeping sweetly by his side. He smiled at the beautiful view that was before his eyes.

For a moment he leaned in and moved his head closer to hers, breathing in her wonderful scent. She smelled unique... She smelled like love, like tenderness... like purity... Something that Demir never found in anybody else. And he would do anything to protect this purity at all cost. He smelled her face without kissing it, so that he would not disturb her and wake her up. He watched her all this time, without getting bored even for a moment.

At around six o'clock in the morning the sun had started to slowly rise and give some of its light and warmth to the Earth. The purple-pink-orange colour of the sunrise penetrated through the glass of the window and fell right onto the love birds who were lying comfortably in the big and warm bed. One of them was sleeping peacefully, while the other one was awake, watching the sleeping one.

The colours of the sunrise lay on the face of the sleeping Selin, colouring it and giving it a beautiful purple-pinkish filter. Demir was still watching his beloved girl sleep, mesmerised by the additional layer of beauty that the sunrise gave her. His hand was lying on her face and his thumb was gently caressing her soft and sweet cheek. Unable to hold himself anymore, Demir once again leaned his head in, this time pressing the most tender kiss to the same part of her face that his thumb was caressing.

Around one hour later Selin started to open her eyes and wake up. Opening her eyes, the first thing that she saw was Demir who was watching her sweetly. She smiled at him and said "Günaydın!"

Demir leaned in and tenderly kissed her lips.

"Günaydın!" he replied "Did you sleep well?"

"Mhm." she answered with her sleepy voice "And you?"

"Me, too." he answered

"When did you wake up?" she asked him

"Some hours ago." he answered

"Hours?!" she exclaimed "Why so early?"

"I do not need much sleep now." he answered "When I feel like I am not sleepy anymore, I just wake up and lie down."

"And what do you do when you do not sleep at night?" she asked

"Different things." he answered "For example, this time I watched you sleep."

Selin smiled at his answer.

"I must say this is one of the most beautiful things I have ever watched." Demir added

Selin smiled with a bigger smile and cuddled up with Demir, their still naked bodies, from the previous night, touching and warming each other.

"What shall we do today?" Demir asked Selin

"I do not know." she answered "All I know is that I should return home today..."

"Let's do it like this - we will spend the day together and in the evening you will go home, if you want." Demir suggested

"Okay." Selin replied "What shall we do, then?"

"Whatever you wish." Demir answered
