Well, it's time to see my fanchild Akira once again here! You knew him from some old Kamijirou fics I made, and well, I want to put him here because he is great for me jsjs.
Enjoy this fic people!
"Dad, when is Mom coming?"
"She'll be here soon Akira. Remember she's saving the world now."
"But I miss her, Dad. I already want to see her again."
The boy already looked a little sad after knowing that it had been two weeks since Jirou wasn't home. He was always cheerful when both of his parents were together and playing with him, but when one of them was missing, the home felt empty. Now with the fact that his mother had been gone for a long time, it was slowly getting to him.
"Be patient honey. She'll be back these days."
However, that doesn't mean that Akira was having the worst time with his father. In fact, he loved how he would do tricks with his quirk in front of him and play heroes and villains with him every afternoon. He had the advantage that even he gave him more freedom in ordering meals, so he always ordered ice cream, something his mother limited him to a few times. It was great to have such a cool and active father.
However, the fun wasn't the same as when both his parents were around. He could have fun with Kaminari, he could have fun with Jirou. But it was nothing compared to when they were both with him at the same time.
An alarm sounded from Kaminari's watch. It was time for some quick paperwork from his agency to do from his computer.
"Oh, looks like it's time to do the day's duty."
He pulled his son down from the couch and rearranged his hair again. They had had a long afternoon, and he could tell it would be nice for Akira to have a break.
"Well Akira, I'll be in my office. I'll come in an hour to continue playing, so you go to your room, alright?"
"Okay dad."
"That's my boy." Kaminari said before heading to his home office.
Once he left Akira in the living room, Akira began to walk around the house. It was his favorite pastime when his parents were busy. Mostly that entertained him because there were times where he found curious things about his parents. But this time, he couldn't have fun with that activity.
He still wanted to talk to his mother. He hadn't heard much news from her beyond what his father always told him every morning. He always told him that she was fine, that she sent her regards, but sometimes he thought he was lying to him. Either he or his mother, but he wasn't sure if his mother was in contact with them.
Deep down, he was worried. He wanted her back home like she did every day. He wanted to find a way how to send her a message or how to talk to her directly. And that's when he had an idea.
"Dad's phone."
At his young age, he already had a good understanding of what a phone was. He knew that was one way Kaminari communicated with his mother, and even though he always struggles with understading the system of it, he knew he could make calls with his voice.
He knew he couldn't leave the house to look for his mother because Kaminari would punish him. Besides, he had no idea where she would be. So, there was only plan B left: He was going to take his father's phone and look for his mom's contact to call her.
He went into his parents' room and after finding the phone on the nightstand charging, he unplugged it and grabbed it, heading to his room to call Jirou. He was lucky that Kaminari didn't put a lock on his screen, and there was an advantage that calls could be voice initiated.
