This was it. It finally happened.
I was doing the register expecting another boring class that made me want to scratch and pull my eyes out with a pen that wouldn't gelp at all... But no. I saw on the register:
"Thea Bechtel".
Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally! Thea Bechtel! She wouldn't snitch! She would be perfectly willing to blow this place up! I looked at the seating plan and figured out which divine she was. She was the girl that bullied me in the bathroom all that time ago and threatened to snap my bones like a kitkat.
I discreetly slipped her a piece of paper requesting for her to pretend to need me for something so we could talk about something important. Thankfully she seemed to understand she shouldn't look at it yet.
Finally, I could get the chemicals and burn. This. Place. To. The. Ground.
" Oi, you're that girl that asked me to meet her right?" She met me like requested.
"Yes"
"Let's walk somewhere safer" Didn't have to ask me twice. She talked a bit about her life on the way.
"You know, people think having a yellow badge is all sunshine and rainbows since we're allowed on the 4th floor, in staff rooms and even in the detention room if we wanted to, but it's really not. I feel infantilized and like I'm being smothered, I'm not given the chance to make a mistake because they don't want to kill me! Obviously not dying is nice but it makes me unable to have personal satisfaction from accomplishing anything on my own! And it's not even just here! It's at home too, the family name is too important and all, everyone would question if we went missing since we are famous business owners". She rambled on a lot, but I was only focused on one thing. "the detention room". I had been under the impression that the 4th floor was the only place that people got punished, perhaps not.
"So, this place is safe, what did you wish to tell me?"
"If this place were to burn down the people that were killed would be mercy killed and it would save generations of children from slavery and torture, and all the survivors would be free, so it's a complete win for us" I hardly even needed to continue talking. Thea developed a creepy and almost psychotic smile at the thought of a beautiful orange fire bathing the school. "And since you have a yellow badge I can only assume you have access to the necessary chemicals". She smiled so devilishly and excitement filled her eyes.
"... Say... No... More. Hehe...".
We discussed plans.
